Hilton Avisford Park

service

Only disappointment was the unwillingness of kitchen staff to help me prepare Scandishakes, the powdered food that needs to be mixed with milk. Following surgery, I am restricted to liquid nourishment.

Stanhill Court Hotel

Fantastic Romantic Place

We are form Mexico and we enjoyed the place, the garden and building are beautiful, is near to the Gatwick airport so we can take the metro to travel to anywhere. Also the cost of the room was ok.

Old Thorns Manor Hotel

Nice hotel but housekeeping a bit hit and miss

Always wanted to stay here. Sprawling golfers' hotel and business conference venue with a spa that is popular with groups of ladies on Day Spa visits. Comfortable room and a great breakfast. Service OK, except housekeeping which is a bit hit and miss. For our first 2 days the bed wasn't made properly. The duvet was simply pulled up - sheets weren't flattened and pillows and our PJs were untouched. On the 3rd day it was done properly. Also, the electronic program guide on the TV didn't work. I reported it to Reception when we arrived but it still wasn't fixed 4 days later when we left. The hotel has a large swimming pool and poolside seating area which is nice, also a large jacuzzi with a waterfall above, but the waterfall doesn't work when you press the button to operate it. Overall, the hotel needs to be better looked after by staff with better attention to detail. On the plus side, because of the decline from previously very high standards you can stay here for quite a reasonable price these days, especially on a weekday. It's not busy, except for the crowds of golfers and they are all outside.

Comfort Inn Arundel

quick break

The room was clean, the staff were very good and the location was perfect fro our needs. But, the bed was too small.(double room but with only a 4'6" bed) The bathroom needs a rethink, difficult to shower and access the soap. We visited the coast/Arundel and Chichester during our visit. The location was perfect with good access to the road infrastructure.
