Tired, very tired, had a strange smell. Bathroom floor was filthy when putting a white towel on it, edges you could see it. Moss growing out then windows. Stag dos in the bar all pi55ed up.

Plenty of parking and a smooth check in but very little information is given. Stayed for one night to celebrate anniversary. The room was similar to a travelodge room but had everything you needed. No air conditioning so the room was like a sauna and uncomfortable so we had very little sleep. The spa was okay, the hot tubs were closed for cleaning but even when open were grubby. The jacuzzi wasn't working properly, sauna was great, steam room had tissue over the sensory so we took it off the first day and it was still in there the next so it had not been cleaned. Breakfast was a good selection but had clearly been sat out for a while and was dry. The bar wasn't particularly welcoming and was dark and dingy. It wasn't quite the relaxing break we had wanted.

Stayed 4 nights the first 3 days the room was not cleaned despite we left message asking for housekeeping. No refill for soap/shampoo . For the price , it’s not worth the stay.

Quieter at the rear of the hotel

The reception manager Leo assisted in allocating a room to the rear/side of the hotel which made a huge difference to my stay, as I managed to sleep with no road noise from the front of the hotel, many thanks!
