Short walk from Amtrak and business district. Good places to eat nearby. Didn’t miss not having a car.

Convenient location to Amtrak and downtown. Restaurant and bar on premises are nice enough. Walking distance to others.

It's been a long time since I've seen a staff so unhappy and stressed-- complaining to each other, struggling to keep up with the work when they're clearly understaffed. It wasn't just one area-- front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. Only room service and the valets seemed to enjoy their work. The hotel is apparently undergoing an update and it desperately needs it. The fifth floor hallway smelled of mildew, air vents in the hall had dust build up, one of the two elevators wasn't working and overall it just looks dowdy. Be sure to ask for a room that doesn't front the busy street because the poor windows don't block the street noise.

Hotel room smelled and was outdated Staff was chatty and not attentive Sunday morning.

I have stayed here many times. The location is excellent and within easy walking distance to many restaurants. The parking is a great service, but no self parking. The lobby and bar are OK, but getting dated a bit. The bar is the same way, but everyone is pleasant and helpful. The hall ways are a bit dated, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Rooms at the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy, but this time I stayed around the back and found these to be much better.

The staff is friendly and try to accomodate your requests if possible. Location is covinient and, rooms were renovaded and are brand new. Excellent beds!

Nice hotel, very convenient location. Restaurant and bar are adequate. Price is right.

Great location and very nice room Great if you want to be close to Hershey but in a downtown setting.

The hotel is under renovations but i think they forgot sound suppression between room. I literally heard my neighbor blowing his nose in the shower...while lying in bed.

Great location, walking distance to many attractions, friendly staff, great restaurant on site, and a fitness center.

The staff was very nice and helpful even when there was a problem with my bathroom. They quickly chnged my room.

Check in and out staff that I met were only looking to assist and help and be cortious. Friendly and made the whole experience highly recommendable.

I've stayed here 3 times now. Anytime I have any events in Harrisburg, I always stay at the crown. It is in the heart of downtown second Street and has a bunch of bars and places to eat and relax around. Always comfortable and clean. Very inviting place.

I'd put this hotel at about 2.5 stars. Paint was peeling on the door, desk chair was unstable, TV service dropped with no explanation, and, in general, the room and furnishings were dated and in need of better upkeep. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable.

My only suggestion is that the bathroom, specifically the grout in the shower needs cleaned. Black/bacteria is forming throughout.

The hotel seems to be in some kind of management transition. The housekeeping staff was below average. Not replacing towels etc. the restaurant was terrible. Old food. Out of many items. The food we did get seemed more like dinner food.

I stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza in Harrisburg as I was attending my high school class reunion a couple of blocks down 2nd Street. The hotel is undergoing a renovation so hopefully they'll be updating the rooms. There's nothing per se wrong with the place, but it feels data and a bit cramped.

Excellent room service. Nice place to stay for business visits. I can prefer this for my next travel.

Location is very close to great bars and restaurants!
