The room that we got was very small and tight, not like the photos of the room we reserved. I had to ask to be transferred and it took a while for the manager to agree. The staff were very helpful though . We had a larger room with the view as advertised. Another thing is that we were paid for an express laundry service, to be done before 830am, our check out time, however, they couldn't contact the laundry the morning we were leaving! The lady manager Phi promised to have it delivered to our next destination which was 2 hours away... fortunately, the clothes, still warm were brought to the hotel at 815! Definitely not a good experience. I think the hotel ad regarding the rooms was misleading.

Good location/ value

This hotel is good for the value and location. Breakfast is standard. I stayed here on 2 separate occasions. The first time it was fine that I booked to return a few weeks later when I was passing through Hanoi. During my 2nd stay the AC kept turning off which is a punishment in during the summer heat/humidity. I called 5 times over 2 days and then just kept going restarting it and saying sorry. I was unable to sleep during my stay. Additionally during both stays the wifi was spotty in the rooms so FaceTiming was difficult. So for those reasons, I cannot wholly recommend this place.

initially moved into a standard room which was absolutely tiny. There was barely enough room to get around the bed. It was too small for one person let alone two people. For $6 more pn I was moved into a larger room which was still small but far better value. Rooms in this part of town are small but also very cheap and great value. Breakfast was adequate. The staff here are fabulous. The location is perfect, 50m to all the main restaurant and bar areas. Great live music just around the corner in the next street.

The room I had was definitely not for 2 people. It's a bed and an unclosed bathroom with no fan so the whole room gets super humid when you shower, but that's fine, I can live with that. The part that was so annoying is there's a mechanical sound, a water pump or something that goes on and off every few seconds, 24h a day, ear plugs aren't enough, you still hear it and it has the potential to drive you mad. They knocked very loud and a few times on my door in the morning while I was asleep which is not great. Check in was easy and quick, the reception staff was super nice, with good English, five stars to them.

Rats! Stains! Noise! The hotel was very rundown and shabby and, although the towels and sheets were clean, everything was very old and stained. There were rats running around in the ceilings and floorboards day and night! The noise feom the reception area can be heard loudly in all of the rooms. Cooking smells from the kitchen and from nearby restaurants were in the room constantly and making my clothes smell. The staff were quite chaotic and unprofessional at times. Not worth the price - we stayed in much better places nearby for the same price. The location is very good though - right in the middle of the Old Quarter.

Hotel management and staff were very helpful with the stay, arranging site seeing excursions and with laundry service. Room was small, but nice, and had a large bathroom. View was looking over Hanoi Old Quarter from 6th floor. Breakfast was simple, not huge options, but enough to get what you need. Easy walking distance of many old quarter shops and restaurants. Took some effort to find as Google Maps places you in wrong spot a block west of actual location, but if you look for the building address you will find it.

Room with a view from the toilet!

We arrived very tired. Our room we paid for was room with a city view. The only window in the room was inside the shower cubicle in the toilet. When we spoke to the manager he said we have a city view...but i said its from inside a shower cubicle. He said sorry we cannot move you . We will see if a rooms available tomorrow. That day came and we decided after opening our luggage just to stay in that room as we were too tired to start moving again. When we told the manager he said thats a good idea your room is better anyway. So, were not happy with this. We never stay in a room without a window especially when we pay for a city VIEW! The hotel was clean, breakfast was good. Location was fantastic!

My stay on the 5th floor was decent. It looks recently renovated and they tried to make it look premium, but you could tell it was a bit of a rush job and not much thought was put into the layout. But those are cosmetic details and aren’t deal breakers. The bed is made, but don’t think sheets and comforter are changed often. Towels (except shower mat) are changed daily, but do have some stains. One towel was really gross, looked like someone wiped their butt and then folded it back neatly. So I just tossed it on the floor for housekeeping. Kettle was clean, but cups a bit dirty, as if they just poorly rinsed them in the sink because I could see coffee stains. Water bottles, tea, and coffee provided. Good WiFi connection. Since it’s located in the bustling Old Quarter, don’t expect quiet. There were no blinds, just frosted glass so there will be plenty of natural light to wake you. I didn’t mind, but just a word of caution for light sleepers. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had them take some clothes in the morning for laundry and got it back later that night and was given the weight. I was told to pay at checkout. The next morning, the same receptionist said they made a mistake and I had to pay for an extra kg. I didn’t have time to contest as my driver was waiting. Maybe that’s their tactic, tell you to pay as you leave when you’re likely in a rush and will concede. They need a scale onsite like most other hotels. I would stay again, but avoid other services

This is an excitement hotel. I stayed for a few weeks in a city view room. It was large clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is quite good, especially the fruits, such sweet pineapples! 😋 They have good spa services and the tours are quite well priced as well. This is in old quarter so weekends can get a little rowdy at night. I love watching the traditional dance theater on the street every weekend. It's only a few feet away by foot from the hotel. There are also many delicious restaurants and cafes very close by.

部屋はあまり良くなかった。ロールカーテンの後ろに窓があり、それはホテル内の廊下に面していた。そしてその窓の鍵は開いていた。夜中に騒いでいる客がいてなかなか寝られなかった。その他も一定時間毎に金属を鳴らすような音が続いて鳴っていた。City Viewと書かれていたが、シャワー室の窓以外に外が見える窓は無く、見える景色もあまり良くなかった。ホテルのスタッフに日本語が話せる人がいて、とても助かった。その他のスタッフも親切で良かった。場所は旧市街の入り口なので、街に出やすくて便利だった。
