We recommend. The host greeted us , checked us in , upgraded our room and escorted us to our room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great !

Pros - interesting location where cars are not allowed due to narrow streets - Walking distance to Hoa Kiem Lake - Very friendly staff - cook to order breakfast - just behind the catheral Cons - cars cannot get to the hotel so expect to drag your suitcases on the street from the main road - Hotel is not as nice as others of the same price range where we stayed during our stay, dirty towels, our room look tired even though they try to upgrade the bathroom - Hotel is in the area with many youth hostels so expect many backpackers in the area As some has mentioned, the high ratings are for the hotel staff and not for the hotel facilities.
The hotel is situated in a very ideal location right in the middle of everything. The rooms were clean and the ambience is cozy and relaxing. This is a great value for money. Better than some of the four star hotels we've stayed in. I will definitely return to this hotel and will recommend to all my friends.
Excellent location. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, and dozens of restaurants are within walking distance. I stayed on two occasions, in two different rooms. The first was a little bit run down, but the second was in excellent condition. The rooms that my companions stayed in were also in excellent condition. I would definitely stay here again.
We were a party of 11 and the hotel did an awesome job with accommodations. We went on a 3 days cruise shortly afterwards and they offered to keep our luggages safe and secured. And rooms available upon our return. The breakfast was so delicious! The hospitality rate as #1. We were always welcome with professionalism. We would stay here again.

We used this hotel for two nights in March 2014. It is very well located for exploring Hanoi by foot and is also near numerous restaurants. The staff was very courteous, the breakfasts good, and they arranged a seamless transfer to the airport for us. For a 3-star hotel and for the price, we highly recommend the hotel.
