Room service on 6th floor from Huyen Nguyen was excellent every day. She is so nice and always has a few kind words to say. Breakfast: the service staff are all very friendly and efficient, and there is a decent choice on offer. However it varies very little each day, some more menu variation would be nice, and the dim sum steamer us usually cold by 10am. Good location for a big variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel as part of a tour of Vietnam and Cambodia that we were on a few weeks ago. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and large. There was a separate shower and tub which was nice. The location was great making it easy to walk to to many shops and restaurants that were nearby. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the hotel which had a very large selection of choices each morning of Vietnamese as well as American and European Foods. We didn’t have a chance to try out the restaurant at the hotel for any other meals during our stay as we were out with our tour group. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much.
Its a great place to stay in, good experience from the front desk reception as they were able to answer to all my queries. They were also able to get back to me on some of the queries that was previously unanswered. Made a custom order to be sent to the room, it was a very fast and efficient response from them. Building is a little bit old and location wise is convenient as there are taxis readily available and the front desk will help to call taxi in.
The view over the West lake is breathtaking, the suite is grandiose! I've stayed on the 18th floor for a week. After, I moved to a single room which is more suitable for my needs. Moreover, the personnel is absolutely charming! Plenty of choices and varieties for the breakfast. If you have to go somewhere during the peak time, it is better to take Uber instead of a taxi. Perhaps, the preparation of the Lunar New Year and roadworks make everyone in Hanoi running crazy. Overall, memorable stays... I love it!
The beautifully located and constructed hotel combined with superb staff service resulted in a very pleasurable experience. The scenic view of the surrounding "Hanoi-an" architecture and the swimming pool were clear highlights, additionally the evening cocktail prepared by Lam was exemplary. I must further laud the hospitality of Oanh and Linh Anh, Thao, Minh, Truong who not only helped me with local knowledge, but greeted me warmly as if we were long friends. I look forward to returning.
Love the Hanoi Sheraton. Great gym, great breakfast and great staff. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable, and the views are great. The only downside is that cab/motobi drivers often get confused about where the hotel pickup/dropoff point is, but there's always staff outside willing to help direct them by phone.
We just checked back in after a one night visit to Halong Bay. From the moment we arrived, the attendant, door person and front desk all remembered us (and front desk by name). We had only been here two nights. They also upgraded us to a suite. What a way to make people feel special, thanks so much Sheraton Hanoi! The hotel is a nice oasis within Hanoi and it was nice to be removed, but still only $2-3 Uber from old town. Breakfast buffet was at the high end of other high quality Starwood properties. Plenty of varied cuisines and options. The Club Lounge is great, again in line with some of the better Starwood properties. Beer, wine & spirits as well as a wide selection of hot/cold food options from the kitchen (not just crackers and nuts like some properties). I look forward to coming back.
Very friendly staff and excellent room service (Huyen Nguyen and Lan Anh), made my business trip a hassle free one, everything was taken care of. Breakfast is excellent, in general food is of highest quality.
I have stayed at this hotel in Hanoi a few times mainly because I am a loyal SPG member. The hotel is comfortable and clean but feels very old and tired. The staff are great and make every effort to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The team in the lounge was excellent and caring. The restaurant staff were very genuine and tried their best to accommodate my needs. Despite the great staff and nice views of the lake, the hotel is in desperate need of a refresh and update...the rooms are outdated and maybe it was just my room but it was very dry inside. I had a meal in the hotel restaurant and apart from the staff which is great...the food feels very tired and does not strike you as the most fresh. For the non-SPG loyalists there are likely a lot of other more modern and updated hotels in the city.
Thank you to all the staff at Sheraton Hanoi. My stay while on business was excellent. In particular I would like to thank Trang, room maid. I conducted work in my suite and while working Trang helped with water and worked around my business hours in the room. Well done everyone at Sheraton Hanoi
