I loved this little hotel situated on a very quiet road behind the St Joseph Cathedral. Perfect location. Highly recommended! Thuy at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. She made me feel at home and welcome. Great little breakfast.

Even though we came during a week when the Hotel was overbooked and there was a lot of construction happening in the building next door, Huey and the staff at Ritz Boutique were always very eager to help make our stay enjoyable. Our room was beautiful and spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, which is often hard to find in South East Asia. The location is walking distance to the best restaurants, shopping and cafes in the city.

Amazing staff who were super helpful. We went in with no real plan for what we were doing and were able to book things last minute with no problems. We visited Halong bay (which was amazing). Really nice breakfast, which also included a main portion from a menu including western (such as bacon eggs, french toast, omelets) and pho (noodle soup with beef). Awesome location to stay in (old quarters), all the streets nearby sell particular wares, with lots of local food nearby also. Also within walking distance and worth visiting are the lake with a pagoda, the water puppet show and the cathedral

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very big, clean and beds were the most comfortable. The Sapa trip arranged by the hotel was excellent. Highly recommend staying at the Ritz boutique hotel Hanoi

Walked in to book this hotel 5 days ago and paid in full. Arrived this morning and they don't have a room for us. They have offered another hotel but this is completely on the other side of Hanoi old town and not in the nice location we booked.

Great welcome as always. Very nice and clean room. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great served every day. Great location, right in the middle of the old quarter, surrounded by local restaurants, shops, and the Cathedral. 2 minutes walk to hoan kiem lake and the puppet theater. Thanks all the staff for your excellent work and professional hospitality. As promised, if i come back to Hanoi any time, the Ritz will be always my choice

This is a go-to place for our father-in-law who is American and works in Vietnam. The rooms are clean and well kept and there is hot water (turn the black light switch down that is located outside of the room for hot water). The value of this hotel is the helpfulness of the receptionist named Thuy. The location is also great to the cathedral, lake, and old town. If you’re looking for a deal, ask about their dormitory.

The staff is really friendly and they even upgraded us to a better room. The bed was comfortable, but a bit too short for me (I'm 6'2'' or 188cm), on the other hand, it was extremely wide, so we just flipped around. It has a great location, from where you can go sightseeing (the cathedral is almost next to it and there's a 5-minute walk to the lake, (which looks much nicer at night). The hotel is not on any of the main roads, so it's quiet and you can get a good rest at night. We ordered the airport shuttle (they confirmed it), but there was nobody waiting for us. (Use Grab or Uber and it'll save you a lot of money). The breakfast was ok, with not many options to choose from. We had to pay for an early check-in.

Super-friendly and helpful staff who gave us really good service during our stay. The room was OK for the price but the bathroom needs a facelift. Would recommend for the low-budget traveler, if you’re not too picky.

We stayed at the Ritz Boutique Hotel on our previous trip to Hanoi and didn't think twice about staying there again. It's situated in an attractive small street behind St. Joseph's cathedral, a nice part of the old town, very handy to all the town has to offer. What brought us back apart from the clean, comfortable rooms was the charming service from Thuy and the rest of the staff who made us feel at home for the six nights we stayed with them. We would highly recommend this hotel for it's comfort, value and warmth. They do a lovely breakfast too! Richard and June
