We booked for 4 days. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. Provided direction, tips and other helpful information about Hanoi. The receptionist - Alex was smart and provided excellent service.
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Not only is it clean, quiet and in a great location with spotless and great rooms, but the people running it are amazing. We arrived at 5 AM and woke up the poor guys sleeping in reception and they still greeted us with smiles and kindness and let us in. When we came back to the hotel after a night in Ha Long Bay, it turned out that there was a situation regarding the rooms. A family staying there had been in a traffic accident; luckily not too serious, but they had to cancel their travel plans and wanted to stay in their room (which we were supposed to move into). The hotel staff kindly asked us if we would be OK to take another room for our last two nights, which we of course accepted. The other room was really nice too -- in fact we liked it better than the previous room :) But the staff were very kind about the whole thing and gave us a small refund and even a small souvenir gift as a token of appreciation. That really made an impression on us, and it shows how they really take their guests seriously and go out of their way to show that they care. I will be sure to book this place again next time in Hanoi, no doubt. Thank you for a great stay in Hanoi!
First time in vietnam and the staff are amazing going out of our way to welcome us. Felt very secure and welcomed. They remembered our names each time we walked in and out and always someone at the door to open it. Excellent service. The recommendation they organised of a free student tour the next day which they organised is definitely something i recommend. The room itself was well organised. Shower itself wasnt as strong as what we were used to back home but it is fine.
You will be probably spoiled for choice of accommodation in the Old Quarter. Paradise offers good and friendly service, and their staff always goes beyond for the guests. They corresponded with us, patiently answering our questions even before our trip and gave us our preferred room type. They even arranged our 2D/1N cruise to Halong Bay and we paid when we arrived at the hotel. What I like is that they don’t rush you to collect payment etc. I ordered pocket WiFi and they kept my delivery for me till I arrived. Good team
Having just moved from India to China we were still working out some of our banking concerns and Ms Jason was so helpful in accommodating us and arranged our welcome letters for the visa so even before we arrived they were helpful. As promised we had a pick up at the airport on time even though it was almost midnight. The room itself was tight for three people but even after 5 days we were sorry to leave because of the people. The room itself, although tight for 3 adults, was clean and decently kept. We had no problems with hot water lasting through any of our showers. The water pressure was great. We liked the location and as we were on the backside of the hotel had no road noise at all. Part of that is because we had some small window that did look into a shaft. So if you are wanting sunlight make sure to tell that that is a desire. We have had much more elaborate breakfasts, but we found this answered our needs completely. Great bread, a mix of other options served with a smile. Ms Linda and Mr Jason greeted us by name and took time out to ask how things were going and what we had planned and if we had any needs. Ms Liely, was helpful as well at the front desk. Ms Phuong or Sue, and Trantheibung or Ocsend, made our mornings much more enjoyable. They met us with a smile and was attentive to our requests. Ms Linda was the star our stay and her smile brightened our days and made coming in and out enjoyable as we knew she would be greeting us. Some have mentioned price, and I wouldn't say its overpriced for the room, it might be on the higher end of the scale for this room, but the staff made it well worth it. We also were very happy with the location. There is so much to do at your doorstep.
We stayed here in December and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is very well located. The room had good facilities and was clean. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the food was good. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We felt this represented good value.
We stayed at Paradise Boutique for two nights- the night before and the night after our 3 day Halong Bay cruise. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is right in the middle of Old Quarter and is very walkable to any tourist site of interest. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they coordinated our tours and rides to the airport. The room was comfortably sized for the three of us with a king and a twin bed. Breakfast was also very good and the selection of breakfast items was really excellent- from western style breakfast with omelettes, croissants, and pancakes to traditional Vietnamese breakfasts with pho and stir fries. Paradise Hotel was very close to 5 stars except on the second night we stayed, there was no shower curtain over our shower and the breakfast area was very crowded and congested and difficult to maneuver. Overall though, I would definitely return to Paradise as we had a great stay.
I was happy with the hotel room and the staff. The room was very clean, and perfectly comfortable. We got the honeymoon suite and the balcony was quite small (only 1 chair), but it still felt like a really good deal (as in good value) given what we paid. The street the hotel is on is quite busy, like much of the Old Quarter. That may not bother you, but it’s something to keep in mind. It is very centrally located. Tons of lovely street food nearby.
We stayed at the Paradise Boutique Hotel on 2 separate nights broken up by a tour and each experience was quite different. First room was cold with a poor shower, but clean. Second room was much nicer, more comfortable but again poor shower and ran out of hot water very quickly. Good location as central and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. If looking for quiet clean hotel in good location is fair, but overpriced for room quality and breakfast.
The best thing about this hotel is the warm, enthousiastic and very pleasant staff. Fantastic service with a smile! Always willing to help you and make your stay and visit to Hanoi even more enjoyable. Also, the hotel is in a great location of the Old Quarter.
