The location is very central and you will have a good view if you are on lake side. Rooms standards are good and rooms were very clean. Staff in reception are nice but usually avoid upgrading your room if you are chain member. Ihad some issue where their manager on duty (Brian) personally helped very much to fix the issue
The hotel is located perfectly near the Lake and close to all tourist spots. You could easily take a walk in the morning and explore the city on your own. We were lucky enough to stay at the 25th floor and I must say, the view from our room was spectacular! Hotel service + food options for breakfast were top notch! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pan Pacific. The breakfast needs a special mention. They had everything that catered to all palates. Juices, fruits, vietnamese food, breakfast pastries, vietnamese coffee and so much more! Highly recommending this property if you ever plan to visit Hanoi city! Lastly, a special mention to Miss Ngyuen for all the fabulous arrangements that she made for our family.
We stayed for 3 nights here. Room is clean and spacious for the 3 of us. Breakfast could have more varieties since the menu seems to be the same during the last 3 days. Overall it was a good stay though the location of this hotel is a bit far from the Old Quarter.
I was stay at 7th floor with the very nice lake view. Comfy bed. The bathroom is big and clean .The staff is very helpful. When I asked about nearest vegetarian Restaurant, he gave a very clear direction. Lot of choice for breakfast but limited option for vegetarian
The Pan Pacific is an excellent choice in Hanoi An upgrade to the Pacific Club is well worth the extra cost 😀 the staff in the club are awesome especially Hanh 😀 friendly and helpful in every way. we highly recommend this hotel
My parents and I stayed in the Pan Pacific hotel for 4 nights. We chose a suite on the 13th floor and joined the Pan-Pacific club so we could access all of the amazing services. We specially loved the services on the 17th floor and I highly recommend going there. Every evening we were treated like royalty. They make the most amazing dinner and tonics you have ever tried! They kindly pre-ordered vegetarian food for me. They made sure that I got to work on time, giving me umbrellas and ordering my taxes to go extra fast because of course I was running late 🤭 They made extra effort to help me relax when they noticed that I was tired. We got amazing service from Sophie, Jason, Hue, Minh, Trang, Hoang and Hanh ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been there with my girlfriend, in a beautiful day with sunset and the best service from those guys. They gave me nice recommendations to order some drinks , and help me to choose the talble with nice views. They came with big smile, professional service, and very polite. Highly recommend this Bar. Thank you Mr.Son and Mr.Truong. See you soon !
If you are visiting Hanoi, stay at the Pan Pacific. The staff are brilliant, Vivien and Sophie were extremely helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are immaculate, the bathtub was perfect for our romantic anniversary getaway.
Ok a bold claim but we stayed here twice, once for 5 nights and once for a night on return. The return we stayed in a Dluxe room and actually apart from size and the lack of access to the Pacicfic Club it was as good. But access to the Pacific Club was a big plus. We stayed in a Junior suite which came with Club access and were treated like VIPs as a result. On arrival we were immediately taken to the 17th floor fo check in and met by friendly staff. Attention to detail was evident through our stay. the room/suite was lovely with stunning lake views. There was every amenity and a large bowl of tropical fruit on arrival and bottles of water each day. The room was spacious and clean and the decor very calming and comfortable. The Summit bar was a nice spot for a drink and the lobby cafe/restaurant was nice for a drink and a snack although prices are high as you would expect ina 5 star. The gym and pool area were excellent and again staff helpful and friendly. There is a well equipped cardio room and weights room and a studio where you can join groups. The spa looked very nice and there is a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which were also good. I liked the treadmills with video screens so you can choose different locations for a run. The Pacific Club gave acces to a lot of extras including buffet breakfast on the 17th floor, afternoon teas and a cocktail/wine happy hour (free) from 5-7pm I think. The staff here were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and spoke English well. Ms Hue was exceptional and made our stay memorable with her smile and personal attentiveness, humour and inquisitiveness. The staff and the trainers should be commended. I would love to stay in a suite every time I travel if I could afford it but it was worth the additional cost over the 5 days and the an Pacific proved a perfect oasis from the noise and craziness in Hanoi! One improvement would like to suggest to all Asian hotels: provide far more tea, coffee, sugar and a small carton of milk so we don't have to chase the maids every morning when we don't get enough! Consider pod coffee in the rooms for Suites. Thanks!
We stayed in the Pan Pacific for 3 nights. On the surface it is a 5 Star hotel. However the check in process took 20 minutes and they still got it wrong requiring more signatures later. We were up sold a connected room even though we booked it. This also was at an additional cost. On the final bill it was itemized as “upswell”. We will not stay at the Pan Pacific again as surely there are better options.
