We used this hotel as our 'base' as we visited other areas of northern Vietnam, they checked us in so we didnt have to go through it all again everytime we came back, they remembered us and always was friendly. They asked where we were off next and if it was bright and early in the morning, they would have a snall breakfast to takeaway for us! The room was clean and big enough to room around.

I recently booked a 4-star hotel in Hanoi through Expedia and even paid an extra $20 at the front desk to upgrade my room. While the space was generous and the upgrade gave me a nice view, several issues really stood out: What I liked Check-in was smooth and the front-desk staff were friendly. The upgraded room offered a pleasant city view. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of hot and cold items. What went wrong The duvet at the foot of the bed was torn and frayed—far below four-star standards. The showerhead in the bathroom was caked with limescale and delivered an uneven, weak spray.

Reservation was confirmed and paid for. When arrive for checkin, we’re told there’s no room available. They transfer us to lower grade hotel. It was very inconvenient and waste our time waiting for front desk staff advising their mistake of handling our reservation. Would never booked this hotel again.
