Had a fabulous 3 day stay and found all stafff very helpful. Very quite room and great views Wonderful area for shopping and in walking distance to most Just over the road from the railway station. Would recommend
We stayed at this place for 4 nights and the check-in experience is forgettable. We were alloted a room which had twin beds when we had requested for one queen. The standard accor welcome kit for members was missing, along with the welcome drink coupons. The hotel information desk has information booklets of saigon but not for hanoi !
We stayed 3 nights & it was excellent- would recommend this place to anyone. This is a smallish boutique style hotel which is amazingly clean & comfortable. Also conveniently located. We were most impressed with the staff particularly the front office. They are very friendly & welcoming efficient & knowledgeable about the surroundings. The bartender during happy hour was exceptional- he makes fabulous margaritas
We stayed on a business trip. The location was excellent. Reception and other staff were very good. Breakfast was of high quality with a good range of foods. the room was well laid out, spotless, and with a good bathroom. a good place to stay.
Very comfortable hotel. Good selection if meals if you not in the mood to hunt down a restuarant. Good place to have a drink outside and watch the traffic chaos from a safe distance. Great breakfast selection. Staff lovely, friendly and very helpful. Great hot showers and very clean. I would recommend.
The hotel is at a perfect location. From the airport you can take the bus 86 that stop at the train station, just 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel. It's also close to the old town and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
This hotel was booked via an agent for me to stay at, and I’m so glad they chose here for me. From entering I received the warmest of welcomes, being greeted by lovely helpful staff. The hotel was clean, good WiFi, and such a comfy bed! Breakfast was decent too - an option for everyone I’m sure. And my eggs were cooked to perfection - thank you! The bell boy on the door had the most infectious smile too - making you happy as you come and go! The location is great too - walking distance to the main areas of Hanoi. The staff were great, as there was slight confusion with the payment due to it coming late through my agent. However they were informative, understanding and helpful throughout. Thank you all! I hope I can return soon and stay again!
We stayed here for 4 days and with a member status with Accor the stay did not go as expected to say the least. Accor members are welcomed with a small kit and information along with welcome drinks - all of which was missing. This was when I had already exercised the online check-in The restaurant charged us one day for the local coffee and did not on the other days without any explanation. At the time of checkout it was waived off though when I questioned. Overall the location is superb. But the hotel has only one restaurant.
The staff were helpful and friendly and the overall hotel was very clean. Our room, although a little on the smaller side, was clean and comfortable and the standard was maintained with the daily service. The only slight drawback was that there were no drawers in which to put clothes. The breakfasts were amazing, with everything you could think of on offer, we also ate dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was excellent as well as great value. The location of the hotel , while not in the old quarter, is a short walk to most points of interest and is on the pickup route for tours. Overall a wonderful stay and we would not hesitate to spend more time at Mercure Hanoi La Gare
Chose this hotel for proximity to railway station ... still easy to get into French Quarter ... very welcoming staff ... good terrace on street to watch the world go by ... lovely modern bathroom, very comfortable bed
