I cant say enough good stuff about this hotel. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and they speak good english. The location is perfect, right in the middle of all the action. The room is very nice. I stayed here on two separate occasions, and tried each type of room. They are both great, and the beds are very comfortable. Nice bathrooms and the room has a smart TV which is amazing so you can watch netflix at night! Great price compared to other hotels in the area and for the room and service I think it is the best value in Hanoi. Cannot recommend enough.

Lots of people on here give this 5 stars, and make many nice comments, and, deservedly so. This hotel is exactly what it strives to be: a great overall experience for travelers who don't want to drop ridiculous amounts of $$. Very good location in the Old Quarter, easy walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, other attractions, and many good restaurants. Other highlights include: -Clean, -Comfortable rooms and beds, -Very good breakfasts, esp the homemade Pho, -Value for your hard-earned Hotel dollar, and -the friendly staff, with special kudo's to Nancy, the night front desk manager. Truly can't say enough kind things about her and how she went way above the call to make our stay wonderful: recommendations on almost everything, directions everywhere, translation help, booking cabs that won't rip you off cuz you're a tourist, and in general, making you feel like family. She's the best! We'll be back.

A great location for the Old Quarter and surroundings. The staff was excellent and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend! Hanh was very attentive and helpful. Thu was very kind and so helpful to us.

Excellent location in the centre of the animated Old Quarter with lots of food options. While it was full of activities outside the hotel, it was calm and relaxing once we entered our rooms with the simple but pleasant decor. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering useful advice. We spent booked 2 rooms here and had one room upgraded for free. Strongly recommended!!

Spent 4 nights here and would recommend it .Great location in old quarter ,lovely room with large terrace overllooking fascinating rooftops all around .From arrival to departure the staff were all extremely friendly and helpfull from manager to reception girls to bellboy .

On a previous visit to Hanoi, we stayed in a large Hotel away from the narrow busy streets of the Old Quarter. This year we chose the Luxury Old Quarter to sample life in the busiest part of the city. A Boutique Hotel, built in what is obviously a typical building from the French Colonial period with the tall narrow buildings, this Hotel is over 7 floors, with Reception and Kitchen taking up the Ground Floor, with Breakfast room on the First floor, the other floors seem to have Two or three rooms. We found the Hotel to be immaculately clean, and any problem was quickly dealt with by either Nancy or Autumn in Reception or Hahn the Manager. The welcome was friendly and the staff all helpful in particular Tien the Bell Boy who always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Good value and an ideal place to see the Old Quarter at night. as it is there right on your doorstep, reasonable places to eat out are easily reached on foot. The Hotel has a lift and a Gym.

We fell in love with this hotel upon arrival. It's on a truly local street in the heart of Old Quarter. If you're looking for upscale, clean streets and surrounding, this area is not for you. However, if you want the real Hanoi experience - stay here! Walking distance to most attactions. Rooms was 60% clean by my USA standards. However, the charm made up for the poor upkeep.

This hotel fit our needs perfectly. We landed late in the evening and were very happy with our room, which we believe is the smallest room in the hotel. Everything was clean and nice, a quiet and air-conditioned respite from the hot and bustling city. Breakfast was tasty (even given our slightly more limited selection as vegetarians!). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and always smiling! If you’re on a budget, I’d recommend getting laundry done outside of the hotel (that goes for any hotel here). You’re smack in the thick of the old quarter and a very short walk from one of our favorite evening-beginners for those who love cheap beer and snacks, people watching, and an authentic experience. In all, only good things to say!

We had a fantastic stay here. Very comfortable rooms, the staff were wonderful and couldn't do more for us. We originally booked for two nights and ended up booking another as the location was perfect for exploring the city. Many thanks to Autumn and her colleagues!

Overpriced for the facilities and level of service received. No window- instead there is a skylight on the 6th floor and then a kind of see through chimney that goes through the middle of each room, so minimal natural light. One male receptionist was brilliant, everyone else just ok, nothing like the service we were used throughout the rest of Vietnam. Excellent location for exploring Old Quarter.
