Fantastic location, staff was soooooo friendly, great breakfasts. Location is very close to all kinds of food including American food. Lots of shops nearby and 10 minute walk to hoan kiem lake. I’ll go back next year.

The service by the staff was excellent. From the welcome, assistance with the area, and being very accommodating when I had an evening departure (they provided a room for me to shower before my 11pm flight), they were the best service at a hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the location in the Old Quarter was so easy access the markets and a quick walk to the beautiful lake. Any concerns I had, which were not many, were quickly addressed. Overall, excellent stay!

We stayed at the Oriental Central Hotel for 4 days over Valentines day 2017. The room was great, it is clean, simple and exactly what a traveler that wants a less expensive yet upscale hotel to be. This is right in the heart of the old quarter, you can walk to all of the main attractions in Hanoi from here. The breakfast each morning is a big deal. Starting the day off with an omelet to order, and some great coffee is a big plus. The hotel service is the absolute best part. This staff absolutely wants your stay to be great. For the price, it can't be beat, they created an unbelievable experience.

Wonderful staff and very bright and clean hotel. I had another hotel booked at golden legend diamond hotel after due to last minute planning and even though that was very nice I wish I had just stayed at oriental central hotel. You can't go wrong here! It really does live up to the rating.
If you like room with no windows and AC blowing directly into your face while you sleep (turn off AC and in the summer temperature is quickly in the 100's this is your cup of tea. ...... Are there are zero stars on it??! i would give it that. But everything else, staff, food, cleanliness is a 5 star. Facilities are 3-4 star, not bad at all
Oriental Central is very inviting and comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They provided excellent information on things to do and see nearby. Their dining recommendation was spot on.
