I had a wonderful 3-night stay at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake. The hotel is beautifully located over the lake, offering peaceful views and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, making the stay feel effortless from check-in to check-out. Great complex built on a lake on concrete columns however it is not a new complex and bit outdated, if you are looking for a modern new hotel, this is not for you. Our room and bathroom was a good size with a large balcony which had a table and 2 chairs. Staff were very nice and friendly, we found in Vietnam people are very friendly and kind, we haven’t had a bad experience during our 3 weeks trip last year and 2 weeks into our almost 3 weeks trip.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bars, restaurants, pool and public areas are well thought out and spacious. The location is 8/10 as it’s a taxi ride to the old quarter but after a couple of nights there you’ll be glad for the tranquility of the hotel. Oh yes, the breakfast isn’t bad either!! 😋

My stay at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake was excellent. The location is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing trip, with beautiful lake views and easy access to nearby cafes and walking areas. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional. Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable throughout my stay. Breakfast was great overall with plenty of variety, though I wish there were more halal options available. Aside from that, everything was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hanoi.
