This Hotel was closed without any notification. The "sister" hotel where I stayed a few nights before CHOSE not to contact me because they wanted to tell me in person and re-arrange a reservation to their hotel. SUPER SHADY. I chose to stay at another hotel instead. Very bad business. I asked for refund from this hotel and they told me to go to their sister hotel again. The sister hotel said that they cant ossue a refund for a few days because they didn't have cash. I pressed them that I dont want to be waiting around. Lo and behold they produced the cash within minutes. Guess they had it all along. Very bad image for Vietnam, since all staff at every other hotel was so friendly and accomodating!

We had two reservations one arriving in Hanoi and the other coming back from Ha long bay and we never stay in the hotel because they move us to another one! The excuse was they had problems with the watery pipe, but I think they over sold the hotel!

This hotel was closed for repairs. Please call ahead and make sure they are open before booking.

The condition of the room is worn but the staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast choices are good and made to order. The hotel is in a good location, easy walking to the lake, night market and shopping areas.

Great location and great service! Friendly staff and were happy to help with anything needed.

The staff did the best they could and were very nice and accommodating. But, this is a property in desperate need of renovation. Peeling wallpaper, old mattresses, the room with only one window out into the hallway. The place is a cheap one night if you just need that. Also, not very appetizing provided breakfast (extremely dry fried rice, several items not replenished, though we came down well before breakfast time ended). In short, don’t expect much.

Good location, great staff, hotel itself was not as nice as it looked it pictures. Not very responsive to emails.

Convenient hotel located within walking distance to everything. Staff is lovely.

Staff was amazing and hotel was just what we needed for a night while exploring Hanoi

Well located and well priced. Nothing fancy, a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, decent breakfast.

Stayed here five nights with my family of four. The two-room suite worked out great. Breakfast was good and the staff very attentive, helping us arrange a tour and anything else we needed. It was centrally located and so we could walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go.

I did not stay at this hotel they were over booked so transferred me to their sister hotel. After traveling to 137 countries this was the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at. The beds had springs popping out in my back and having bed bugs did not help. All the electrical outlets were open with loose, live wires all over the place. The street noise was unbearable and I had to take a sleeping tablet to finally get some sleep. As for the bathroom.... well it had mold all over the place with holes in the ceiling and once again more open electrical sockets with loose wires over the place. The door did not lock properly and the elevator did not work ! Wifi was non existent !!!!!! So once again I did not stay at lotus hotel, so if they try move you to their sister hotel, and say it's better, rather get a refund and find a better hotel
