The room is very old and down graded; sink and shower stand weren’t drained well. There wasn’t enough staff to assist you; our room was on the 8th floor, but the elevator could go up to only 7th, we had to bring our luggages up and down ourselves. Breakfast was very simple, not much of variety. Luckily we paid only one night here.

First of all. The location is really central. Secondly, the people at the reception are really great. Had a little problem with the credit card payment and they went out of the way to ensure that the problem was sorted. They never stopped reassuring me that i will get my money back and constantly updated me of the process along the way. Thank you so much. Definitely very honest people here who work hard to ensure a great stay for all.

Starting out with the check-in. What you were being quoted is not the exact amount unless you play with cash. Credit card 3% service fee. I considered that a bake & switch. Room is good size but it is dated and it shows it's age. No breakfast onsite, you have walk about 1.5 blocks to another sister property for breakfast. The breakfast there was very limited in selection. The worst part is you can only choose ONE item. If you pick two fried eggs, you can't have the chicken noodle. Two fried eggs are all you can have from the menu that morning.

From our very first contact through messages, Angela was always kind, responsive, polite, and extremely attentive. She patiently answered all of our questions, helped us organize and book our tours, guided us around the city, and even assisted us with a room upgrade. Great location and good pricing! The hotel is right in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter and only a few meters away from Hoan Kiem lake. Really friendly staff. Our group got upgraded to family suite which is really spacious. Highly recommend for those who will be visiting Hanoi.

Breakfast was around the corner in their sister hotel, staff were a little slow, had to ask for a coffee cup, the milk had ran out and took several minutes for them to top up even though the dining room is about the size of a standard living room in someone’s house and the kitchen just off it! Hotel in a great location tho so we just went elsewhere for breakfast.
