Although I visited Vietnam on rather busy business work, I was very relaxed at this hotel with clean room and varieties of nice foods. Assistant guest relations manager always gave me kind assistance with smile.
My first stay at the Daewoo Hanoi started off promising enough. My room had a nice charm and was very spacious. The hotel itself is beautiful with its old world architecture. After a long work day, I relied on the in-room dining service and I am sorry say that the food was sub-par and not fresh, and may have even caused my subsequent illness that is extremely disappointing for a five star hotel. If you stay away from in-room dining then you’re fine. I stayed here for convenience but am unlikely to return.
The hotel is excellent. The staff is very attentive, the rooms is very nice and the food is very good. I had a cut on my arm. Karin Dung attended to my request for assistance and took me to the hotel clinic for a quick bandaging. Thank you. I would certainly stay at this hotel again. .
i was warmly greeted upon arrival and staff made me to feel welcome. Check in was smooth with delicious welcome drink. Daisy was more than friendly during my stay and nothing impossible with a smile👌👌👌
Daewoo is one of the best hotels in Hanoi - all in all, I loved everything about this hotel, the staff were unfailingly great -- answering questions, arranging taxis, etc. WE COULD HAVE STAYED INDEFINITELY. Plus we met the MOST friendly and helpful receptionist (Ms Lyn Lam) ever, so lovely and great first impression of the hotel. Would definitely love to come back again, keep it up. Highly Recommended, breakfast is nice and you can find great restaurants and bars around the hotel.
I was at the Daewoo Hotel on the exchange of American and Vietnamese education. Room very warm and nice view even though a little bit old. Staff on the club really great and extremely friendly. More unexpectedly is Ms. Kimmy also remembered my habits whenever I went to the club to have a drink. That made me feel very thoughtful attention. Overall I had a great experience, thank you.
Without doubt one of the favourite hotels, I stayed during my time in Hanoi ever! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by all staff at the front desk. Lyn and Kelvin were extremely friendly and helpful during the check-in; giving us a higher floor room :) We had two beautiful evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The hotel ambience is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Thank you, Daewoo Hanoi !!! I will be back again !!!
Arrived to a very nice reception area and had to wait for a room due to our early arrival. Went to the lounge area for coffees while we waited. When we received our room it was so disappointing compared to the open areas throughout the hotel. The room had a heavy musty smell, stains all over the carpet and dated furniture/decor. I did request a room change due to the heavy musty smell and they did accommodate us with a room change. The secondary room did not have as heavy of a musty smell and the carpet was unstained but the decor was still dated as the first room. This hotel could be a much higher ranking hotel if the invested money in the private rooms. Open areas, restaurants, pool area and service were all great but a good night sleep won't happen in those old beds.P.S. The buffet was very good
My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon 2'Mar with good service and very comfortable. Club lounge offers amazing food and snacks and the service is impeccable. Evening cocktail from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. You can drink red wine ;white wine.beer...etc. It's free for vip guest. The room is beautiful with lake view and the amenities are great. I highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to comeback
I used to stay in your hotel in Febuary, 2018. This is very nice hotel in Ha Noi. Hotel staff is very helpful, they helped me so much when i stayed here. They told me to some good taxi that i shoud to catch and very nice walking street in Old Quarter on weekend and help me tourist information after my working. At breakfast, food is delicious, the best breakfast in Vietnam, specially "pho", you should try "pho" when you come this hotel. The club lounge in 16floor is nice and good view, good drink. I can see city view from club lounge. This hotel is good location, in center of Hanoi but very quiet at night so i slept very well. From this hotel, i can catch car, taxi to some tourist destination easily. Shopping center Lotte on the next, only 2 minutes, so close. I love this hotel and when i come back the next time with my family, i will stay longer. Thank you!
