Breakfast selections are not authentic Vietnamese dishes.Dining space is too small only limited seating space at a time. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly, and able to arrange activities to Ha Long Bay, and various sightseeing destinations.

The room was a bit smaller than I expected and smelled of mildew which was not pleasant, but the air conditioning was excellent and usually cleaned the smell right up. The staff were excellent and very helpful and courteous, the morning breakfast was also very enjoyable.

We liked the location and the help from the staff. Breakfast was good. Would return.

Pleasant just watch the room by the stairs, as the staff are not quiet.

Everything was nice. The breakfast was special. The furniture is beautiful.

Overall, I had a positive experience at this hotel, however, it's your typical 3 star hotel. The first night we stayed in the cheapest room because we were arriving late and just needed a place to crash. The room was extremely affordable and great for the price. The next night we upgraded to a suite, but it wasn't what we were expecting. Yes, it's spacious, but it's outdated and just didn't feel like it was clean. The faucet on the bathtub is literally coming loose, paint is chipping and has weird splotches, the bathtub pipe leaks onto the floor because there is a hole in it, etc. If you are considering paying for a suite here, I'd recommend staying at a higher rated hotel because it's not really worth the extra money. Overall, nice little budget hotel; great spa service, and perfect location.

Charming hotel with friendly staff. The location is superb!

The hotel room is cozy, clean, and well sealed which means that the room doesn't smell musty from the humidity and the noise is muffled. A hot shower can be taken any time of day. The staff from the front desk to the travel desk is extremely professional. Food stalls & restaurants are prevalent in the surrounding area.

I booked this hotel online before leaving the United States. I was a little concerned that the price was so low and that the place might end up being a dump. I was sure wrong. The rooms were comfortable and clean.(ask for room with shower) It is a smaller hotel but had little to no noise and the staff was very friendly. They were incredibly helpful when looking for food or needing help booking tours. While you might find a hostel a little cheaper down the street, this is a big upgrade in hotel for not much of an upgrade in price.

Location is great in terms of being heart of old town but that comes with the early morning State 'broadcasts' and in our case, day long pneumatic drilling every day during our 4 day stay. Staff were very helpful and a highlight. Breakfast certainly wasn't at 4-star level......poor buffet selection including tired croissants, and no table service of any kind. The general menu doesn't reflect the local food well or provide good Western food.....sort of 'dining of last resort'. Again the staff came through to help us with this though and gave us good advice on other places to eat. The rooms were OK....beds are 'firm' (a positive for some or negative for others). The general character and tasteful interior are what I would hope for in an old town hotel. I would recommend the hotel to a friend but only with some warnings about noise and food quality.

Hotel just in a city center - please be aware that some rooms have windows outgoing to the gym building which starts its operations at 6am and you might be awaken by loud music and gym trainer.

Great staff and location. Rooms were clean and well appointed.

Very friendly staff. Small hotel with small rooms, our room had a shower out side of the bathroom, in the corner of the main room. Breakfast was included with the room, had a good variety of food.

This was the perfect place to return to at the end of the day touring. Room is well designed and quite comfortable. The hotel staff is excellent, very professional and can set up tours and travel. Overall, the hotel is very well managed, including food service, which offers a great breakfast with both western and eastern dishes.
