First of all, excellent service. They thought of everything before you even asked - bought show ticket for me because they knew the line is long, reminded me to get ready for Ha Long Bay pickup, arranged transportation, offered shower before midnight flight, how to eat local food, currency exchange, etc. Tips and advice on everything. This made my short 3 day-2 night stay so easy and efficient. Staff always friendly and helpful. Restaurant is great too, food, decor and ambience. I ate breakfast and two dinners there.

We had the best stay at the Grand Hotel! All of the staff is top notch and so friendly and helpful. The room was spectacular and super clean. We loved the outdoor hot tub. We had a beautiful stay!

The hotel is is a great location. Walkable to most major attractions. Stayed in a room without a view and it was very quiet so we slept well. Beds were also comfortable. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast was really good- lots of vegetarian (and non vegetarian) options. I would stay here again.

We spent 2 nights here and the location and service was amazing. The staff surprised my hubby with a birthday dessert and they also sang for him. They were nice to let us use their shower room before heading back to the airport even after we have checked out during the day. Rooms are nice.

Hotel was beautiful close to shopping, restaurants and tourists spot. Walkable in all directions. Staff were friendly and approachable. We were accommodated well even after arriving on a red eye flight. Didn’t expect to be colder….next time go summer time

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel du Lac! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and our room was SO comfortable and clean. The restaurant and rooftop have an amazing view of Saint Joseph's Cathedral which really helped enhance our lovely breakfast each morning. I highly recommend staying here, if not the main reason being it is so much value for how much you pay.
