We visited twice on our trip to northern Vietnam .. once for a night before our trip to Ha Long Bay and once for an afternoon and evening before our train to Sapa. It was surprisingly nice especially the two bedroom apartment we had on the first stay. The one bedroom on the second stay was too small for us and the kids. PROS: Great to have more space than a hotel room.. it was a really nice apartment, new, clean. A nice pool .. great for our 6 & 8 year old.. and this doesn't seem to be standard for Hanoi hotels The location is good .. Between the airport and the old quarter so takes less time to get anywhere in Hanoi traffic. Probably if you wanted to spend all your time in the old quarter it might be a pain to get in and out.. though I think they have a shuttle bus. CONS: We had a problem with the check-in staff and getting four vouchers for breakfast. I now can't remember if it was our fault or not but there were four of us staying rather than the two printed on the Agoda receipt (sometimes when you book with Agoda it only counts the adults for some reason). In hindsight not a big deal but the reception staff would not budge. They were super helpful however when our pick up for Ha Long Bay was late. We'd stay again.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom spacious apartment on the 25th floor. It had a nice partial view of a lake. Although the hotel is about 14 years old, it was very clean and well-maintained, and looked like it had recently been refreshed. The white goods looked brand new, and it was great to have our own washing machine and dryer so we didn't need to pack too many clothes. Breakfast was included, and quite satisfying too. The daily variation of pho was surprisingly good. The breakfast room had also been refurbished recently, and was elegant and sleek, with an inviting view of the pool below. To top it all, service was always warm, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is some distance from the Old Quarter, but cabs are cheap and easily available, and it was always pleasant to return to after a day exploring the hustle and bustle of the old city. The hotel is also very conveniently connected to a shopping centre with restaurants, supermarket and gourmet western market for self-catering.
Love the Fraser Suites, accommodation was very clean. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Lovely breakfast. Walking distance to many restaurants and shuttle bus to old quarter. Would stay at this hotel again. 😀😀
The Fraser Suites in Hanoi provide a high quality astay in Hanoi. We have stayed there twice and on each visit we have been impressed by the quality of the rooms and the attentiveness of the staff. While the Fraser suites are not in the centre of things in Hanoi, good transport options are provided by the Fraser Suites. Its colocation with the Syrena shopping centre is a bonus. In all we find it hard to fault the Fraser Suites.
Location was perfect for us. We had a 3 bedroom suite and it was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent as well. Gym was mediocre but the overall stay was really very very nice. We traveled with adult children who also enjoyed it. The Toto toilet was mind blowing (crazy as it sounds I wanted to bring one back).
While I was staying in Vietnam I stayed at the Fraser suites. It was an amazing hotel wih great staff and excellent service the breakfast was amazing. I also love that they had an little mini library.
The staff and service were excellent, however the facilities felt a bit tired. We came here after a couple of truly amazing hotels so the place did not quite live up to expectations. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. The bedrooms were a little on the small side and only 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was very well equipped and TV/Internet was not dated at all. Gym was very well equipped and open 24 hrs but the steam room was not working. Breakfast was not as extensive as other places but more than enough...and the omelettes were amazing. It is part of a small shopping mall so plenty of places to eat and a small supermarket very conveniently located.
I would like to call out Manager's support in allowing my family with an early checkin option. we arrived early hours from SAPA via train. Although staff initially wanted me to charge additional half day charge, but thanks to Mr. Lee (Manager) who approved my stay and made it a pleasant experience. Overall a great place to stay with friendly staff!! will be surely going back again..
We booked a 2-bedroom unit and was upgraded to a 3-bedroom and the 4 of us actually didn't need the extra room The unit was very large and complete with kitchenette and laundry/dryer. Too bad we were only staying one night to fully enjoy the whole stay Room came with a very extensive breakfast complete with pho and egg station. I would love to return if the whole family is holidaying in Hanoi together
Wow our family stayed at the Fraser suites and it was proper luxury. Fully fitted kitchen and when I say fully fitted, it had everything. The sofas were so comfy and the tc and dining table where plush. The wifi was super fast and both the bathrooms were gorgeous. Strange design on the shower though as it could not move. So the water just squirted at the door. There is a supermarket downstairs where you can buy most things but it was expensive for Vietnam. Few restaurants downstairs and around the hotel. Bad: We booked a room for 2 by accident in a 2 bedroom apartment. They upgraded us to a 3 bed and then demanded and extra £60 on top, which we had no option to pay and 4 people aren't allowed to stay at a 2 bedroom... Very confusing. The pool was quite cold as the pool was shaded by the surrounding. Despite the bad we had a wonderful although expensive stay and the beautiful Fraser suites.
