Not a FAMILY Hotel

This is definitely NOT a FAMILY Hotel. It is old and the room has no space for luggage. The bathroom is small and WET and basically a toilet and hand basin with a shower head in between the two. The elevator is too small for an infant stroller (Infant Stroller not a Baby Pram) and one person. Our room was on a mezzanine level accessed by stairs between two elevator levels. The Asian breakfast is by coupon, three doors away in a cafรฉ. (Not even breakfast cereal). I booked and pre-paid for four nights but forfeited the last three not by moving into a regular international hotel half a block away. The receptionist was very obliging in trying to make up for the lack of facilities.

No room available when we arrived even though we booked 2 months in advance they had no record of it on their system!! They moved us to their sister hotel for a night then back to them following day (up 4 flights of stairs in 40 degree heat with a 3 year old. I donโ€™t expect this when we reserved and payed for a room). My wife had a cold/flu one evening and when she rang downstairs and spoke in Vietnamese to the receptionist they said they would go and get right away, when we rang back 30 mins later they claimed to know nothing about the request!
