You get what you pay for here. Pros: -front desk service is friendly. for tour bookings, ensure you either have USD or dong. -breakfast buffet had a lot of options and was quite good in terms of selection and quality Cons: -Room had minor mold on the walls all around the room. asked to change rooms but the other room was the same. -place is pretty old and looks like it. you get what you pay for here. it is a 1-2 star hotel

Amazing staff (rooms not so much)

The staff was amazing. They were extremely friendly, went over and above in their respective duties. The rooms are dated, carpet torn and dirty. (The room I stayed in) Don't know about the other rooms. Room did not look anything like the photos on hotels.com. I can't say enough about the staff. They were amazing.

The Bao Khanh Hotel is a great hotel in the middle of the Old Quarter. Step to Hoan Kiem Lake The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. (We had one at the back.) The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.
