We have visited Hanoi without any tour plans, but Anna organised all the tours with very good deal without any hassle for us. We enjoyed Halong Bay and Sapa Tour with her great help. All other staff are also very helpful during the stay, every service went very efficient and so smooth and quick. I also enjoyed their breakfast a lot. I am sure that they have a good chef. If I have a chance to visit Hanoi again, I will definaltely choose this Hotel. unfortunately I could not have the same experience at the next Hotel in Hanoi. It was a right choice for me to choose this Hotel. Thank you very much Anna and the other wonderful staff!!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Angel Palace. Very central location in the Old Quarter, close to many of the main sights. Room was clean and comfortable, good value for money. Very friendly staff, felt very welcome.

40 minute from the airport pick up by hotel 25usd. Anna greeted us warmly in the very ornate reception of a skinny but beautiful hotel in the old quarter and gave us a quick rundown of what's what at and around the hotel. We were in walking distance (bout a km)of the Hoan Kiem Lake. Beaut spot for the Saturday we were there. Roads closed off with kids and people enjoying the day. Lots of shops and excellent coffee. Again close to the Dong Xuan Market and great Night Market Friday Sat Sun till 11pm. Nice to have an upgrade to an executive suite on the 7th floor which was huge, very clean and with clean new furniture. Great bed super big. Bathroom good and practical except shower rail probably used to climb out of the shower/bath and a little bent. Water pressure fine not super terrific but did the job. Our view (no opening windows) was over the Hang bong street but at 7 stories the traffic noise was light which was nice to hear. Buffet style Breakfast was excellent good choice with western and eastern dishes avail and an omelette bar. Tho we only stayed one night this hotel exceeded its 3 stars quite comfortably.

Service: Warmth welcome upon arrival, bellboy very helpful, help our luggages up to our room. All the staff are friendly, greeted whenever we bumped, felt very welcomed. Hospitality is spot on, that is all I asked for. (Shout to Anna who spoke fluent English, gave plenty of recommendations, a definite great asset to the hotel) Room: Basic amenities I wanted in a hotel room, 50+ channels tv program eg english movies and sports, hair dryer, basic toiletries, safebox, minibar, complimentary water. They are just sufficient for me. The bed is comfy, but it just need 1 or 2 more head pillows. The only 2 things disliked was the brightness of the room (it needs more lighting). Second was the 'bath tub toilet', after showering the water flows everywhere and wet the whole floor, which bothers me not to have dry feet after a hot shower. (Request a non bath tub toilet). Noted to the management: The towel or basic toiletries needed to be available at all times as I requested a foot towel midnight, the staff claims that the housekeeping is closed and locked by the housekeeper. So I had wet feet walking around the room. Breakfast: Did not take their complimentary breakfast as it was served continental but I have no complaint to that. I just explore the neighbourhood to find local breakfast and what do local eat. Surrounding: Located within Old Quarter, 5-10mins walk to Hoan Kiem lake. Plenty of souvenir store along the way, convenient store 24hr (CircleK) located opposite, Breadpapa (Cream Puff) just beside the hotel. Local food store/stall easily accessible.

This was our second stay at Angel Palace and we really like this hotel. It is very centrally located, very good value for money, clean pleasant and quiet rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Will definitely stay there again. We booked three tours with the hotel and were very happy with them all. Highly recommended.

I like their staff here especially to Anna. Not recommended to their massage services. The worker is not skillful and pay attention while working so the whole session is feeling like freestyle massage.Totally not enjoy and disappointed Overall hotel facilities will need improvement as the hairdyer is not functioning and there is not additional set for backup. The soap & bedsheet is not changing everyday. Finally their aircond in hotel lobby and room is not cold. When we experience air cond break down the hotel don't even have mobile air cond to backup and only able to provide us a stand fan. Even though the hotel manager had apologized to us but I personally feel this is the contingency plan that a hotel should have and improve

Stayed here while visiting Hanoi for the first time. It's centrally located and staff were nice and accommodating. However, it's been let down by a couple of major negatives, including a restaurant manager who seriously needs training in customer service and the food itself needs to be improved for variety and temperature - bland food at luke-warm temperature. Also, our room had a nasty lingering smell of chemical silicon sealant in the bathroom which unfortunately lasted throughout our stay - if they managed the property maintenance properly, the bathroom needn't have any bad chemical smell but can actually be smelled nice and fresh for the guests. Both of these points were brought to the management's attention and she's acknowledged and assured me that they'll be addressed and improved. I really admired her approach to customer service for her willingness to accept and act on productive criticisms. Another issue was that in the morning when there were lots of bedding materials gathering and blocking stairways which were not only unsightly but could be a health and safety issues for kids tripping over them. Overall, our whole family really impressed with Vietnam and enjoyed our trips to Hanoi, where we had some unforgettable experiences. The highlights here were the two long trips, both booked through the hotel, one was Tam Coc (Ninh Binh), the other was Ha Long Bay.

Angel Palace is in a great location in the old part of Hanoi. It lives up to expectations as what you see on the photos you get, simple but a rarity these days. We booked a car from the airport which was very convenient and safe as the driver was not the usual taxi maniac! The service immediately we stepped inside set the trend for our 6 night stay. Check in was simple and Friendly Anna gave us a lot of local information as it was our first time in Vietnam. The bedroom was quiet, great shower ut do not expect too much from the TV, 2 channels for movies in English. Breakfast was OK nothing fancy but it covered our needs, again with excellent service. If you stay here you will NOT be disappointed

This Hotel is tucked away on a very busy street and is a real gem. The staff are very helpful and friendly (especially Anna on the front Desk, who helped us book our fantastic trip to Halong Bay). We stayed in an executive room which was very clean, spacious, had a separate sitting area. The breakfast is a buffet style serve yourself (you even have the option of having eggs cooked to order of your choice) and was always delicious. It is situated about 10 minutes walk to the lake and really is in the centre of everything, plenty of places to eat and drink. You wont go wrong staying at this hotel. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay in Hanoi really special.

I stayed for 5 nights and overall it was a good experience. The personnel is very friendly and most of them are very professional, both in the reception and in the restaurant. The hotel is also very well located. The only comment is that I stayed in the room right above the restaurant with a window facing the lightwell which connects to the area of preparation of the restaurant. That means that even if I closed the window I felt the noise of food preparation and cutlery early in the morning. I didn't change the room due to lack of time. Anyway I highly recommend this hotel.
