This was our first time to the Finger Lakes region, and we immensely enjoyed our time at Moonshadow. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hosts (Jeanette and Steven) were wonderful. The breakfasts were fantastic. We signed up for their wine tour and that was wonderful, too, as it provides not only a nice sampling of wineries but also vistas and information from around the entire lake. We will definitely be back to Moonshadow the next time we're in the area!
So peaceful and relaxing, lovely breakfast, serene mornings on the porch overlooking lake view. Loved the nightly fires at fire pit area.
Used towels were not changed daily, we had to request fresh ones. Also, bed does not get made as maid does not enter room until we depart. Visually unappealing.

Hello Cira, Thank you for taking the time to write. It is our policy for your privacy we do not enter occupied rooms unless requested to do so. It is written on our website and also under our terms on your booking which you agreed to. Furthermore, when you brought it to your attention you wished for new towels you were given them immediately and we asked you to put the used ones out for collection which you chose not to do. I asked TWICE if you would like me to make up your room, and you declined. We have no issue doing so if it is requested, but most of our guests prefer their privacy.
