It is close to the highway and it is quiet. Good room service.
The hotel was average. Not exactly the cleanest but not the dirtiest either. We went for a hockey tournament weekend so we weren't overly picky. The biggest issue I had was with the bed. Hard and no give to the mattress whatsoever and the pillows were absolutely horrible. Bring your own pillows! Our heater would kick in periodically and was quite loud and difficult to find a happy medium for heat (either too hot or too cold). I could of likely have had a chance with getting a decent sleep if I had a better pillow despite how hard the mattress was but my neck has been messed ever since trying to use theirs. Needless to say I didn't sleep. Otherwise, average hotel, average cleanliness, restaurant left much to be desired for large group. Do not go to the restaurant if you have a large group since they were not prepared on a weekend to handle it - the restaurant was NOT busy either. Only 3 other patrons besides our group. That was not a very good experience either. Go outside of the hotel to eat, much better.
We only stayed here to sleep - late night getting in, leaving early the next day. However, the room was beautifully appointed and was the most comfortable bed in our week-long trek around So. Ontario. The layout of the hotel was unique with much to be discovered and explored (the kids would have LOVED the pool and arcade area!) The staff was out-of-their way friendly and helpful. All in all, we wish we would have had more time to enjoy this hotel.
It was a wonderful stay. The staff was understanding and very professional. All in all a great stay. I would defiantly use this hotel again.
