a fly in the ointment

This hotel is large and has everything you need in a great location. However, the only downside was that the body wash in the room became watery for some reason on the second day. Although I replaced it with a new one after talking to the front desk, it was still disappointing. Other than that, the hotel's breakfast and hot spring facilities were excellent.

We stayed with kids and really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is cobwebs located near the railway and bus stations with plenty of food options.

Toilet was broken

We were stranded in Shin Hakodate Hokuto when our train to Sapporo was cancelled due to heavy rain. The only train ticket to Sapporo we could get was the next morning. No hotel rooms in Hokuto and very few in Hakodate. We booked this hotel as it was one of the few with rooms still available. We were able to get to Hakodate on a local train and the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the station. When we got there the front desk clerk told us our room reservation came with breakfast for 20.00 a person but the breakfast only started a few minutes before we would have to leave the hotel to catch our new train at 6 am. We asked for a refund for breakfast but he refused. He then told us we could use the breakfast vouchers for 2500 yen off items in the hotel gift shop but the gift shop did not open until 7 am. We left early and breakfastless but did catch our new train to Sapporo. The room was ok but the toilet would not flush. The handle was broken. At this point we were so exhausted and we literally had booked the last room available, so we channeled our home plumbing experience and did the best we could. But clearly the hotel was not in good repair and they were out to wring every penny they could from the guests, so I cannot recommend it. Maybe they can use my 40.00 from the breakfast we could not eat to buy a new handle for the toilet.

舒適的溫泉飯店

前台服務親切，客房舒適，溫泉浴場設備舒適，戶外浴場視野佳，但室內溫泉池底出現一些不明的物質（像是木屑），但不確定是旅館溫泉特別的安排或真的是雜質。

Unpleasant Odor in the Room

Hello. I stayed at your hotel from July 9th to 13th. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and the food — everything was excellent. However, I did experience some discomfort due to a persistent unpleasant smell in the room, which resembled a sewer or bathroom odor. Additionally, the hallway and walking space in the room, where three people stayed, felt rather narrow. The area around the table and separate chairs also felt quite cramped. I’m not sure if improvements are possible, but I believe the overall guest experience would be even better if the in-room environment could be enhanced a bit. Thank you very much.

The room my family first got had a problem. The mattress of my bed was damaged , so i fell very uncomfortable when sleeping. I asked the receptionist to cmattress for me. My first room’s bed had a problem, the mattress of my wife’s bed was damaged at the middle part, I asked the receptionist to change the mattress. The manager from the receptionist apologized and upgraded me to a premium high class room for free. Also the hotel receptionist accepted us check in early. I will choose this hotel again if come here one more time.

Friendly & helpful

Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of our rooms had a bad smell so we brought it to the attention of the reception staff. She helped to change to another room quickly and efficiently. Thank you

老舗のホテルだと思っていたのに、フロントのチェックイン対応からビジネスホテルクラスのレベルでがっかりした。部屋の壁が薄く、廊下の声や隣の部屋のテレビの音が聞こえた。朝食の味も普通。
