The hotel is in Haifa in northern Israel. It is very close to bus lines and a kind of tram. The room decor was beautiful, reminiscent of what you would find in a quality British boutique hotel. The common areas include an outdoor patio with comfortable seating and an entry level sitting room with upholstered sofas and chairs. Guests are welcome to read a variety of magazines and there is a lending library. Happy hour includes wine, juices and healthy snacks. Inside the rooms the beds were high quality and very comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of hanging space in the closet. Loved having an empty small fridge to store food. The breakfast, set in a beautiful indoor/outdoor space, was fabulous, as are all "Israeli breakfasts," which feature dozens of things to eat. The service at the hotel was excellent.
This hotel was an excellent choice in our favorite city in Israel. It is a free-standing historic stone building that has a small park on the property and is next door to a wooded park overlooking the Sea. The room was spacious and comfortable and quiet. Like the other Atlas boutique hotels this one has both a happy hour and a breakfast, where we met other travelers. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, from the first phone call. A taxi cab ride , free-of-charge, was arranged to the Bahai Gardens, and this visit was a high light of our trip. We were responsible for the ride back, but we walked the two miles down the mountain, which was also memorable.
The Bay Club Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel in downtown Haifa. It is near city hall and away from the more touristy hotels by the beach or near the German Colony. The hotel is in a historic building that was the home of the son of the governor in the 1800s and a police station during the British Mandate. You walk into the hotel and from the first moment, you can tell it is going to be a great experience. The front desk staff were engaged, friendly and helpful. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and well appointed. We took the upgraded room with the balcony and were blow away. If you can ask for room 410 or 411 the balconies are huge with a great view of the city. The price of the room was very reasonable particularly if you consider how nice it is.
Very nice boutique hotel in good location. Hotel decorated with good modern décor. Excellent service including happy hours and big breakfast. We feel very relaxing and rest comfortably after long drive to Haifa.
Spacious room with comfoirtable bed, comfortable sofa chair, nice desk, and a small terrace. Soaps provided were gentle for the skin, with nice smell. Small private terrace with tablke and chairs. Great breakfast food and a glass coverd backyard/terrace to eat it at that was so beautiful and peaceful, and on top of all this a nice display of foods and drink for "happy hour"
Was a great stay. Very kind staff always eager to help. Very good breakfast+happy-hour. Fresh with good variety. Very relaxing stay. quiet with very nice view in pretty good area. Highly recommended for couples.
We came to Haifa for a weekend. The Hotel is beutiful, very comfertable, big rooms, excellent service. Interesting location very close to the Harbor with many pubs/resturants. Breakfast is rich. Free snak/wine happy hour each day.
The Bay Club Hotel is housed in a beautifully maintained older building. It has charm, and even from the street it feels like a safe comfortable place to be. We arrive at midnight on a Wednesday to Thursday, tired and a bit unnerved after 16 hours of travel. The front gate to the property was locked and we couldn’t figure out how to get in. No matter, the attentive night staff found us and quickly helped us in. With efficiency and kindness he had us checked in and in our rooms within ten minutes. We slept comfortably on firm mattresses. Eight hours later we enjoyed a wonderful Israeli breakfast, beautifully displayed as a buffet on the lower terrace level of this hillside hotel. Today we (reluctantly) leave after 4 nights here. Our room, though small, is comfortable. Great bad wonderful shower. And all of the staff are pleasant. It is clear that this is a well run property. Just to be completely objective, I will mention two minor negatives. First, in our room there is very little storage space. The closet space is half height, as a small refrigerator is tucked in. But it is not a big deal for me. Second, it is a bit of a walk, or a brief taxi ride to get to most of the attractions or restaurants. Not a problem but just keep those in mind. Without hesitation I would return here and also highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was well-located, close to the German Colony, Bahai Gardens, and the Metro. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Free street parking was easily accessible. We had a VIP suite which was spacious and comfortable. My only critique is the breakfast, which was included, and was fine, but we stayed at another Atlas hotel, 65 Hotel, in Tel Aviv, in which the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel
Very stately romantic European hotel. STEPS leading to lobby. Massive doors and windows. Hotel is a few meters back off street with park like entry. Very good bath/shower. B-fast is in high ceiling lower floor with outdoor patio. It is a long 20 min walk through a bit seedy area to the only restaurants. People eat late, and outdoor restaurants are empty of ambiance at 7:00 PM Don't miss Baha'i garden/shrine and drive over Mt Carmel.
