Great views very comfortable beds sleeps 8 balcony off living area and master bedroom decorate with the beach tone no need to bring anything. Walking distance to Pink Pony, The Hangout , Sea and Suds next door market across street gift shops within walking distance of condo perfect location no need to drive unless to a grocery store would stay here again

We stayed 10 days in this condo and enjoyed every single moment of it. The condo is in a great location that is in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Also directly across the street was a nice market to buy ice needed daily for ice chests on the beach. We enjoyed great food several times at the Sea & Suds which is right next door and on the sand. The food there was fantastic!! We also enjoyed some great frozen on the beach from there. Also within walking distance was the Pink Pony which also had great food, music , drinks and atmosphere. The Hang Out was also in walking distance of the condo. Right across the street was a great Waffle House which we enjoyed breakfast or late night breakfast after a night out several times. We took a cab to the Flora Bama and The Wharf several nights and it was only about a 15 minute ride and 5 bucks a person which was awesome. There is also a WalMart & Publics just a 10 minute drive away. The beach access was awesome and cleaning station the usual low pressure trickle which can be aggravating especially with a long line leaving the beach. However it is like this at most condo buildings. The pool area although we did not use it was really nice. We did use the grilling station several times and they were located in a great place and easily accessible. The one complaint we heard a lot was that for such a large complex there were only 2 very slow elevators. We were not there in peak season and we had a wait each time we called the elevator so I can only imagine how it would be during peak times. The good thing was the elevators were climate controlled so you didn't smother on your slow ride down or up (we were on the 18th floor). The condo we stayed in 1807 and rented thru VRBO rental # 705012 was privately owned and well maintained. It was spacious enough for a group of 10. The balcony was to die for with great views and extremely comfortable furniture. The condo had a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need as well as extremely comfortable beds with great linens. Each bathroom had bath and hand towels provided but they were limited and had to be washed several times a day which was no problem at all since the unit had a nice washer and dryer. The owner was easy to work with. The door had a door code which was awesome for a large group coming and going. No key to keep track of. A really fantastic selling point for our group. We spent most of our time on the beach and each night after cleaning off our chairs etc and loading them on 2 beach carts we parked them in the spacious utility room the condo had which came in really handy. Also the 24 hour security guard comforted us leaving expensive vehicles parked in the garage. The security guards were all extremely nice and personable so they earned a plate of Louisiana food we had prepared and it was greatly appreciated LOL! I would highly recommend a stay at the Seawind Condos. You will not be disappointed at all!!!

We stayed there with my parents and it was super nice with a great view! I would stay here again. It had two rooms and two bedrooms. It also had a sofa that would turn into a bed. We didn't need that, but a nice addition had we needed more sleeping room. There was a nice kitchen with all dishes and cooking items supplied as well as a full size fridge.

We just wrapped up a fantastic week at Seawinds. We were in #904, which was perfect for our family. 3 bed, 2 bath. Well maintained, lovely beach decor. Furniture, TVs up to date, clean, great condition. A huge wraparound balcony directly over the beach. Open from living room and two of the bedrooms. Really liked that two beds opened to balcony. Great wide beach access. Awesome zero-entry kiddie pool/splash area. Reason for four star instead of five is not condo owners fault: pool (said capacity 30) too small for 155 condo complex, and only TWO elevators. Move in/move out is a nightmare.

Right on the beach with great views, and the condos are large and comfortable. The kiddy pool area was perfect for the kids to play around, and the hot tub made a great place to relax in the evening. Well worth the visit.

Seawind 1808 was the perfect vacation destination for our large family! The owners have paid extreme attention to detail in every imaginable detail. The condo is right on the ocean with an incredible view from the 18th floor, and only half the walk to the water that any other condo has been that I have ever stayed at on the ocean. We enjoyed a wonderful dolphin show from our balcony, and it was high enough up to miss the noise of other visitors but still enjoy the peaceful sound of the ocean waves. The 1808 condo was impeccably decorated, incredibly clean, and well furnished. The free wifi was very fast and never a problem. It easily sleeps nine with room to spare, and the sofa bed is quite comfortable, too! The two bathrooms are very large, and we really appreciated having a full-sized laundry room to store things as well. There were many extra blankets and towels for use. The owners were wonderful to answer our questions before we came, and we would have felt comfortable reaching them if there any problems (there were not). We loved the fact that the master bedroom also had balcony access. The neighbors were quiet even though we were there in middle of July. We have never stayed at such a desirable location! We were walking distance from several restaurants! One, Sea N Suds, is literally right next door. We were able to enjoy frozen adult drinks there before hitting the beach. There is also a souvenir store and grocery store right across the street, which was extremely convenient. We were within walking distance to the Hangout, which offers live music every night. It is a really fun place for familes and young adults, but my husband and I enjoyed dancing there as well, and we are in our forties! Another great advantage is that wave runners (sea-doos), parasailing, and banana boat rides are literally right there- no driving to an obscure location somewhere to enjoy what you want to do on the beach! We did drive to another location nearby for deep sea fishing, which was also fun. If you've never been to Gulf Shores, let me tell you: it has everything you want for a beach destination without driving 1000 plus miles or spending a lot of money on a flight. It was not overly crowded, and it was an absolutely beautiful, clean, lovely beach. The sand is white and the water is blue/green. It was usually clear and calm while were we there. I read some complaints about waiting for elevators and the narrow parking. There are many parking spots that are not narrow, and we were always able to find one very easily. The elevator was never a problem, either. I think at the most we waited two minutes for an elevator, and we were up and down quite a bit the seven days we were there. I would highly recommend Seawind 1808 to anyone and everyone!

Stayed in unit 905... nice, comfy decor with a great view! Well maintained condo and easy access to the beautiful beach! Sleeps 8-9 which is nice, but unit needs more towels and utensils. Main issues- Parking spaces are very small and there weren't enough for all. Elevators- only 2 for 19 floors! We had to wait quite long and often took the stairs. The 2 small pools should be larger for condos this size. Beach chairs are not included, but were available to rent for $30 a day. In my opinion, 3 rows of chairs set far back from the gulf wasn't ideal. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but for the price would expect a little more.

We loved our stay at the Seawind Condos! Our condo was beautiful, comfortably furnished, and clean! It had everything we needed to cook our own meals and do laundry. The "pool" is more like a 3 ft deep kiddie play place, which was great for our toddlers. We loved being right on the beach, grilling on the condo grills while the kiddos played in the pool. The only complaint is the wait time for an elevator. We'd occasionally have to wait 20 minutes to get one. We'd definitely go back though!

We stayed in unit #1906 last week for our trip down to see Jimmy Buffett in concert at the Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach. The unit was very nice and clean, bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Great views as well. It is a 3 bedroom which was more room than we needed but they worked with us on the price because we booked at the last minute. We had no problems during our visit (except the weather which is always unpredictable at the beach). Wi-Fi was included which is always a plus for us; water pressure in the master bath could be better but I can be a little picky about that. Facility has 20 floors & 2 elevators but we did not really experience any issues with that; they were quite efficient. Some of the parking spaces are really narrow and some are on a pretty steep side slope, so parking might be an issue for large vehicles.

We stayed in 904 and I won't stay here again. We stayed for a week and the gym and pool are next door and I didn't even know that it was ours at first. The elevators take forever, there's no lobby, parking is tight, and my car has gotten so many marks from other car doors hitting me. I paid extra for another wristband to use the pool and nobody else wears one, so who knows if they're supposed to be there. There's no code for the pool, so anyone can go. The wifi is terrible and not everyone's phone would even link to it. It was very expensive and just not worth the money. The only decent thing, was it's location to the hangout and gift shops because it was in walking distance of about a mile. I do have to say the balcony was a corner one and therefore bigger than the others, but the outdoor furniture was dry rotted and the recliner chair broke when my mom sat on it.
