Come discover this hidden gem on the beautiful beaches of Fort Morgan. Enjoy your relaxing stay at this completely renovated beach home. Although we are not beach front, the white sandy beaches and clear waters of the gulf are located directly across the quiet beach road from Coral Dunes. We own the property directly across the street, Palmetto Dunes, so you have your own access to the beach between our beach front property! Just a few steps out your door, and you are on the beach!
If you want to escape the crowded beaches, and enjoy a quiet getaway for families, kids, and friends, Coral Dunes is the place to be! Settle in, relax, and unwind in this beautifully decorated house.
Coral Dunes is a one level, 4 bedroom , 2 bathroom beach home , that comfortably sleeps 10 guests. It is located in the wonderful quiet subdivision of Surf Side Shores, located off of Ft. Morgan Road ( Highway 180 west ) . The neighborhood is great for bike riding and relaxing walks!
As you enter Coral Dunes, a large open living area, with open kitchen and dining areas, offers beautiful views of the gulf waters. The entire south wall of the living area consists of large sliding glass doors that completely open the living area up into the screened back porch, allowing you to enjoy the relaxing gulf breeze!
The central living area separates the 2 bedroom wings, offering the perfect set up for 2 families traveling together! Sliding barn doors make it possible to close off the bedroom wings from the living/kitchen area for quiet and privacy. A full queen size sleeper sofa is located in the living area.
The east bedroom wing consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, TV, and breathtaking views of the gulf. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, with TV. The bathroom has a separate beautiful tile shower with a single sink vanity.
The west bedroom wing also consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The second master bedroom has a king size bed, TV, also facing the gulf side, with great views of the ocean. The additional bedroom has 2 twin beds with a TV for kids to play their video games ! The bathroom has a bathtub/shower and a double sink vanity. A pack n play crib is also available for little travelers!
The screened porch off of the living area offers a great place to take in the beautiful views, have your morning cup of coffee, or just curl up with your favorite book! There are 2 sunning decks located off of the screened porch with plenty of deck chairs for relaxing and sunning, and a dining table for meals outside! Another large deck and BBQ grilling area, and porch swing, is located under the house, offering lots of covered shady areas to relax or play!
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary items needed for preparing your delicious meals. Laundry facilities are also available. All bed linens and bath towels are provided for our guests.
Shaded parking is available under the house, with additional parking on the driveway. Enough room for 6-8 vehicles to park!

The beach house was great. The house has a very good layout with the large central living space and the bedrooms were awesome. Distance to the beach was fantastic. Easy to run back to house for more items or a quick meal. Highly recommend and will be staying here again.

This property is PERFECT!!! The house is beautiful and clean with a well laid out floor plan for families or groups! The views from the deck are gorgeous! The beaches are perfect and the neighborhood is very nice! It is quite and uncrowded, but a short drive to all the business! The property manager is very easy to work with and kind! Wonderful house. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The view was great. We will be going back when Fort Morgan is our destination again. The only draw back was one bath towel per guest so we had to do laundry everyday.

Our family had a great time at Fort Morgan and the Coral Dunes beach house worked out great for us. It’s a great location with just a short walk to the beach. The layout of the house was nice with the open floor plan and the ‘barn doors’ to close off the bedrooms. It was nice having the pack-n-play and high chair so that we didn’t have to bring them for our grandkids. The owners were helpful with our planning also. We can’t wait to return.

Coral Dunes is beautiful. So close to the beach! And they have thought of everything down to the last detail — comfortable beds, blackout shades in all the rooms, and everything we needed in the way of amenities! For those with young children: this property was perfect for our two families. We had two young toddlers and we loved the screened in porch — we were able to open up the wall to enjoy the ocean breeze without worrying about their safety.

This is our second time to stay at Coral Dunes. Our only complaint was the bathrooms weren't clean. But in all fairness I think it wasn't used the week before we rented it and wasn't checked on before we got there. We cleaned them up and all was well. It is a great place for a family gathering.

A Gulf Shores gem!

We loved our stay at Coral Dunes! The house was immaculate and Kathy was immediately available for any questions we had when preparing for the trip and while we were there. The location is wonderful as it's just off the beach -- it was so nice being able to just walk across the road and go back and forth. And it was so convenient having some beach chairs and toys for the kids at the house! The layout was ideal with two bedrooms and a bathroom on each side. We felt like the kids had a wing and we were able to have some space. We highly recommend this house!

This is by far the nicest, cleanest place I’ve stayed in the Gulf Shores/ Fort Morgan area. The short, flat walk to the water was great, especially for my dad who has hip/back problems. The sliding doors that open up to the screened in porch was my favorite. Being able to open them all up and listen to the ocean waves was just so relaxing. The house had so many beach toys and games for the kids to play with. The beach cart was especially helpful to pull our load of things to the beach with. Just all in all a fantastic place to stay.

Great House and Location

This location is perfect if wanting to be on the beach without "beachfront" prices. Plenty of space with a split floorplan, great kitchen, ample parking, beach supplies, and, best yet, about a 30-second walk to the beach. The owner is very responsive and kind. The location is on a private beach as well. Rent a tent from BeachBum, and you will have a nice spot between houses on the beach. Two things I would improve upon would be privacy curtains for the living room area and a bigger/better washing machine. We are excited to return soon!

amazing - location & view

We consistently use VRBO and this was one of the nicest houses we have stayed in. It was too hot to fully open the sliding wall of windows but the view was awesome. The layout of the home is beautiful. We drank our coffee every morning in the screeded in porch, walked across the street to our private beach every afternoon. The house was clean and had all of the amenities you could want on vacation, along with handwritten notes to help. Checking in was easy with keys in the lockbox. The house is every bit as good as it looks and sounds online

Nice location - very close to the beach

The house was beautiful and just a short walk to the beach across a small subdivision road. The kitchen was well appointed. The gathering space was large and we loved the screened-in porch. We had an issue when one toilet handle and chain broke. The repairman was very prompt and courteous. One bathroom had a slow tub drain but it was livable so we did not report it until we left. The owner reported she would take care of it. This is a personal preference and for information only. All beds were very soft and problematic for some members of my family with back and neck issues.
