We love heading down to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach the week of Thanksgiving as it’s still comfortable to do things outside. If you’re looking for a hotel with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and a place that treats you like VIP, Hotel Indigo Orange Beach, AL, is the best place to book! From the moment we walked in and Julie from the front desk greeted us to cocktails in the evening with Mike, breakfast with Cynthia and Liz and Jack providing transportation to the beach, we felt like family. Hotel Indigo was clean, beach themed decorated and still topped it off with beautiful Christmas decorations. Our room was perfect and I can’t wait until next year to have the best sleep I’ve had in years!

Easy access to the hotel. The state beach was 1/4 mile away. There was a nature trail next to the hotel for walking or riding bikes. The staff were helpful in giving places to eat and shop.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is not directly on the beach but there was a quick, easy to get shuttle. Off season is excellent, we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. Overall an excellent stay!

Every employee I dealt with was very helpful and kind. The bus to and from the beach is perfect as it kept sand out of my car, zero park fees, and no driving! Exceptionally clean everywhere. (I was cornered and captive in the elevator by an angry barking ankle-biter whose owner just stood there looking up! Maybe get them their own elevator if they can’t behave in public…..)
