The house was cute from the outside and nicely decorated. The inside was not clean at all! The trim was dirty and full of dust. Walls and light switches were dirty. The cupboards in the kitchen and bathrooms had stuff splattered all over them. A few of the dishes in the cupboard were crusty. The upstairs shower curtain was stained along the entire bottom, a foot from the floor. They had touched up the paint in the lower bathroom with a completely different color. It looked cheap and gross. Every other VRBO we’ve stayed at offers a lot more accessories and appliances. There wasn’t even enough dish soap, dishwashing detergent, or toilet paper for our stay. All of the other cottages offered beach chairs and toys and a wagon to get the stuff to the beach. This one offered nothing. For the price, we shouldn’t have to go out and purchase everything that we can’t even take home with us. We messaged about not having any blanket and needing some batteries for a remote, and they did bring those couple things the next day.
