****CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: There will be complex repair work ongoing starting May 28-August. Alternate parking in another available spot may be required at certain times and will be arranged. Constrution noise, debris and scaffolding will be onsite, but beach access will be maintained. Pool will be open. Expect noise from 8am - 5pm weekdays. We regret the issue but these updates are much needed for the complex. CONSTRUCTION RELATED ISSUES CAN CHANGE SO PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR LATEST UPDATE BEFORE BOOKING*****

Fresh paint & new living room furniture throughout!

This two bedroom, one bath unit sleeps six with sleeper sofa in living room. Condo has many decor updates! New 50" HD SMART TV (May 2022) with DVD in living room. NETFLIX, HULU, Amazon Prime, etc available with your own account! Very close to the beach..only 2 doors down from the beach front!

Flat screen TVs wall mounted in each bedroom, with front bedroom with 40" SMART flat screen!

The bedrooms include new upgraded mattresses for ultimate comfort and relaxation. USB charging outlets in kitchen!

The kitchen is well-equipped with quality appliances and stocked with all essentials. You will have a Keurig single-cup and Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffee maker available. Older Playstation system available,but will need your own controllers! No working controllers available.

Condo is close to town, only 2.0 miles west of Hwy 59, directly on the beach.

Parking for two cars directly under this first floor condo. No private balcony, but large breezeway for seating, just steps from the white sand beach!

Convenience store Waves Beach mart, The Beach House Kitchen, Island Ice Cream, and S & S Seafood Market conveniently located across the street, everything you need is within reach

Common/public deck areas for viewing. Grilling area also (no grills provided). Non-Smoking Unit. Oversize vehicles will not fit in the parking spot. No trailers, high top vans, boats, etc are allowed on the premises. Vans with roof racks or taller vehicles with roof racks will need to have racks removed to fit in parking spaces.

**New non smoking rules:

There will be a designated smoking area on the north side of the dumpster enclosure (NOT inside the enclosure). We are working to make this area appealing to the eye and sheltered to provide as dry as possible for guests who are smokers, it will also have a butt dispenser. We are hoping that this will be inviting to our guests who are smokers and will create a comfortable area to do so without disrupting our other guests.

All common elements are NON-SMOKING, this is outlined as the following: all land that is owned by Sunrise Village, walkways (decks, terraces, however you describe it in your booking), stairs and stairwells, parking area, driveway, and private balconies.

In the instance that someone is smoking outside the designated smoking area we have produced a 3-strike policy:
1st offence - warning, and letting the guest know where the designated smoking area is as well as letting the guest know that if a 2nd offence occurs, there will be a fine.
2nd offence - $50 fine to the guest
3rd offence - eviction with no refund

The condo was the perfect hub for our trip. We had 2 condos with a total of 7 people. We are breakfast and lunch in the condo and had plenty of space. We will definitely be back.

Good for the money

Good for the money! The bathroom did have mold on the ceiling above the shower. I did have to contact the owner because the kitchen window was open and I could not get the latch to lock. They sent someone the next day to come fix it. Beds were comfortable. This property was right on the beach, which was fabulous and did not break the bank.

There is a lot. First there is no deadbolt,its been removed.so keypad lock only,the rug isnt blue its brown blue from filth,the couch and pillows are musty,old ,dirty, outdated,the kitchen chairs are tinged brown all over from build up of filth, the fridge was on hottest setting and took 2 days to cool down,the washer is incredibly loud, filth built up around door frame,the bathroom, the shower curtain liner is disgusting,full of god knows what,2 used loofah left hanging from previous visitors, the shower faucet hardly works and is dangling by a thread, the exhaust fan is hanging half way out of the ceiling about to fall , the mirror was even dirty , half drank water bottles and trash left and drawers and under beds and bedside table cubby, the TV with game system in one room doesnt work, there was one battery in each controller so we had to get batteries just to use main TV. It advertised pull out couch and bedding but you only got a fitted sheet and flat sheet to use as a blanket. The cups previous people "cleaned" were dirty and set in cabinet the blinds and tvs all have a film of dust . The only good thing about this place was location. If you plan to sleep in on vacation, we sure didn't here because workers started drilling and banging at 8am and they park right at entrance making it hard to get in . Not to mention they leave every bottle they drink from as garbage in the parking areas they were working. Location was the only good thing about this place. The photos look

2 day trip to the beach

The place was sufficient in space for our family of 4. It was clean enough. The unit is clearly showing signs of ware. The shower faucet head and unit was loose behind the shower wall. Other than these few things the unit is worth the price and location. I would return to this vacation spot. Parking turned out okay for full size 3/4 ton truck with 4-6inches to spare in height.

Beach Life

We enjoyed the location of this property. It was a short walk to the beach. The beach was very clean and we had a lot of fun playing in the beautiful waters. The room itself was smaller than expected but was equipped with everything we needed. It would have been nice to have a broom and dust pan to sweep up the sand. Only a vacuum was provided. The stove and dishwasher were dated but worked okay. The beds were not very comfortable however so we didn't sleep very well. Overall, it was a good stay. Next time we will would look for a bigger unit if more than 2 people are in our party.

We enjoyed our stay, overall, great property! The rooms were very clean and the furniture was comfy! We loved being able to walk down only 1 flight of stairs and not fight the elevators of a typical condo to get to the beach. Our only complaint and hopefully is improved for future guests: was that the maintenance guy was using an air blower to clean sand out of the parking spots, however, it blasted our Lexus with tons of sand on the paint. I wasn’t a fan of that, at all. He also wasn’t very patient for us to get into our cars as we left to go eat dinner. Overall, it was perfect for our little family of 3!! 😊

The location of the property was great. It was beautiful. Online this place looks very well kept the pictures make it look very clean that is not the case. The bed skirt was very dirty, and it was white, so it looked brown. The pillowcases had hair on them, and the actual pillows were very dirty. The shower was dirty, and the shower curtain was dirty. The floors were clean, but you could definitely tell the just spot clean.

Christmas vacation

The beach was beautiful! My complaint is that two of the four nights we spent there we were awakened by a next door neighbor (15 feet away) operating a table saw out on the deck until after 11pm at night. We complained and did everything but call the police! Very disappointed

Excellent location.

Everything was ‘as advertised’. Being right on the water is the most important requirement. I like the digital lock checkin procedure. I wish that the pool was a bit bigger. We will consider this when booking for next summer. Thank you.

Great location within vicinity to all activities and restaurants. The Condo was super close to the beach. We are a family of five and the only complaint I have is the unit had 1 bathroom. Complete oversight on my part when booking. But! If you are a smaller family, the condo would be perfect for you!

It was overall not a bad stay, the sheets in one bedroom had stains though and then the long mirror was broken around the frame when we got there. The location and beach access was beautiful though! That aspect couldn’t have been better but their was only one toilet paper roll and no extra garbage bags. It did work well for pot group and we would stay there again just hopefully it’s a little cleaner next time

Location is great, Condo itself is just ok

Overall the stay here was just ok for for us especially for the price at almost $1900 for the week. First the place is small which is fine with us we have stayed at this property before but you also notice a lot too in a place this small. The windows could use a cleaning, bathroom fan needs cleaned, floors need to be cleaned better, etc. I became frustrated because we drove and didn't pack chairs or an umbrella since it is listed in the listing description along with a photo of them. They didn't have them when we arrived and the listing company just kept telling me "none of our rentals come with them" ...ok then take it off the listing since it is deceitful. Also the response of "you can rent chairs on the beach" ...yeah sure for $170 for the week....we bought chairs/umbrella but it still costs us $150 and again we have some at home so don't need them. Also the pillows in the bedrooms should be updated....they are so flat and some are stained yellow. The blankets in the rooms are two flat sheets and a hospital style blanket. Again for the price of this property those are things you should invest in. The location of the property is clearly the best part.....it is super close to the beach, you can leave all the beach gear next to your car, and across the street is a store, ice cream, and restaurants. I wouldn't personally stay at this unit again but we do like this general location.

Spring Break

If you are looking for a place that is steps away from the sand, this is it. Was located perfectly for our kids… steps away from the beach to the condo for quick bathrooms breaks with kids or making lunch. The bathroom has some improvements needed with the shower faucets and some minor improvements needed, but for the cost and the location…. You can’t beat it.
