This stunning, beachfront home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in desirable Morgantown. Spectacular views, a spacious screened in porch and access to two community pools as well as tennis/pickleball make Picture Perfect the ideal vacation destination.
The Space
The Great Room features a 50" hdtv, DVD, stereo, wet bar, and fireplace. This den area opens onto a large screened-in porch that leads to decks and a private board walk over the dunes to the beach. Complete kitchen on the main level with everything you will need to enjoy your stay, including a separate beverage refrigerator and a commercial ice maker (will make over 30 lbs. of ice per day).
Master bedroom suite downstairs with 42' TV, king bed, and very nice full bath area and plenty of closet space. Three other bedrooms on the main level with new mattresses. Two with two queen beds and one with two twin beds. The west queen room has a private full bath. The other two main level bedrooms share a full bath.
Oversized master suite upstairs has king bed, sitting area with 48' TV. This room opens to a large, covered porch and provides a wonderful view of the Gulf as well as beautiful sunrises and sunsets. A large bath with his and her counters and lavatories, separate garden tub and shower, is also located upstairs for the enjoyment of the master bedroom suite.
* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. * No pets are allowed at Picture Perfect, and this policy is strictly enforced. * Reservations are available year-round but limited to Saturday check-in/check-out and require a 7-day minimum.
Fort Morgan and Morgantown
Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

Thanksgiving.
It was a great stay and at a great location however, the furniture and the appliances must be replaced in the den and kitchen in order for it to remain a great place to stay at Fort Morgan. We have been staying there for over 20 years and the furniture has not changed.

Picture Perfect Beach House
Had to put food in zip lock bags because of ant problem in kitchen. This was our fourth time in this beach house and rugs were in bad condition. Definitely need professional cleaning or replacement. I realize a screen in porch is hard to keep clean, but not as clean as past stays. Other than those things, it was great.

Who doesn’t love raw sewage on their family vacation!
Everything leading up to our vacation was outstanding. Communication and ease of obtaining information was great. The house needs some work but completely understand that happens when you have a house right in the beach. Day 3 one of the toilets clogged up. No big deal and maintenance was quick and responsive. Day 5 raw sewage was dripping from the ceiling into the carport. Maintenance told us to only use the bathrooms on the other side of the house. Day 6 we waited most of the day for the plumber to arrive. Property management let us know to remove our valuables if we do leave. End of day 6 problem solved. Since this definitely negatively impacted at least a few days of our vacation, I asked about some kind of refund. We were offered the returning renter discount. Enough said.
