Spent 3 nights and were upgraded to a villa with a private pool for free. Lovely quiet beachfront resort and infinity pool looking onto the beach. The beach also has a hammock and a swing - nice touch. Must have good hiring practices because reception staff, wait staff and kitchen staff were very friendly, service-minded and attentive. Wifi is free and strong signal throughout the entire resort - better than my home internet. Rooms are very tidy and well decorated. There were a few cons. Privacy was an issue as people are constantly walking passed and can see straight into your room and private pool area. Also, despite amazing staff, the food menu and quality needs improvement - the food at nearby restaurants had better menus and were cheaper. Overall, definitely good for a quiet stay but recommend eating food from outside.
We stayed in a villa not far from Sea Valley so visited for dinner a couple of times. The first time was a BBQ on the beach which was delicious. The staff were very attentive & we had a really lovely evening. On our second visit we ate in the restaurant & tried Thai food which we were very impressed with. Lovely family friendly resort with great staff. Thank you.
Had an amazing holiday here at Sea Valley Hotel and Spa. The villas are comfortable and clean with own private pool. The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for you, friendly and attentive. The food was good and the cocktails were great! The area is quiet and the beach and pool often felt like your own. Easy to travel to other parts of the island by taxi. My only complaint is the mosquitoes so a decent repellent is needed!
We stayed in the beach front villa and the sunset was out of this world. The room was clean and spacious with everything you would expect from a top class hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping us with our car hire and booking excursions. We had an amazing massage from the comfort of our own sun loungers, while watching and listening to the sea lap the shore at the bottom of our garden. The good was ok, but there are plenty of nice restaurants on there island to choose from. I would highly recommend going to watch Muay Thai while in Koh Samui.
It was really hard to rate this hotel this poor as the views you get from the beach front villa are amazing but that's really all... We booked here for 8 nights of our honeymoon in hope to relax and unwind as much as possible before coming home but we were so disappointed. At check in we were greeted by a man (the owner I believe) check in was fine we got a welcome drink and showed us to our villa, which has everything you will need during your stay. What really is appalling it's the service we got, for 175e a night we expected much more but we didn't even get a tacky happy honeymoon at the check in, the treatment was a complete disappointed compared to the other hotels we stayed in during our time in Thailand. During our stay our phone wouldn't work, we noticed when we went to order room service, when reported to the reception I was kindly told to order at restaurant tonight and they'll fix it the next day. not really what room service it's all about but since I was already out the room I went and ordered at the restaurant. The food at the restaurant it's overpriced for Thailand so be prepared for European prices this didn't really bother us but if you're looking for cheap place then you will have to hire a moped for 250 baht a day or a car for 1500 baht, and you can eat in restaurants nearby for half the price. Our villa wasn't very private and we had people and children walking/running through our garden to get to the beach everyday, bit uncomfortable when you're trying to sunbathe or swim in your pool, perhaps maybe a sign or higher hedge would fix the problem. The breakfast it's fine buffet style so something to suit everyone, the breakfast staff are worth a mention as they are lovely and couldn't do more for you. The nearest 7/11 It's about 10mins from the hotel on a motorbike. Be prepared there isn't much around but that's what we were looking for to be away from all the parties and flashy lights so the location it's very peaceful which was perfect for us. WiFi was fine worked everyday. We were also made to pay for all 8 nights in advance so we couldn't even take our money elsewhere. Very disappointing stay and we wouldn't book in here again.
My husband and I stayed at Sea Valley for nearly a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Opt for a sea view or beachfront room to get the most out of this quiet, gorgeous getaway. The breakfast and breakfast view are wonderful (try the watermelon juice, declicious!) and the beach is the most intimate of the island with just enough places to walk to and have a drink or a bite to eat. You can easily get a massage either on the beach or at the hotel (inside out on the beach) and order delicious drinks or food throughout the day while you chill by the pool or on a chaise longue on the beach. People who opt to stay here are either couples or families and all seem to be seeking quiet enjoyment. If you are looking for more action you can always stroll over to Nikki Beach Club for music in the evening or a meal. They have a massive brunch on Sundays with a dj by the pool and lots of people enjoying themselves. Sea Valley rooms are spacious, clean, the a/c works perfectly and the bed is especially comfy! It is also quite handy to jump into the plunge pool at your room to quickly cool off. We will definitely come back to stay at Sea Valley and having seen the rest of the island feel that Lipa Noi is the best place to stay if you are seeking beauty, tranquility and amazing sunsets. We recommend renting a car for at least a day to discover the rest of the island. Enjoy!
We stayed here for nearly a week with our boys aged 5 and 8. Unfortunately there was a storm of epic proportions during our time on Samui, we lost 4 full days to non stop rain all day long :-( However the accommodation was lovely. As a family of 4, we had adjoining rooms which were well appointed, private and well equipped. The wifi (which was important on such wet days) was excellent, as was the breakfasts. The area is quiet, perfect for family's or people looking to be away from the bright lights and attractions of Chaweng and Lamai. We hired a car to travel around as the wet weather did mean there was little to do, but when the sun shone, which it did eventually, it was perfect. I would recommend and if I could have changed the weather the location/accommodation were perfect. At least the rain did stop and we could enjoy it.
We stayed in the sea valley for 2 nights, staff, food and room was all amazing, staff couldn't help you enough and the room we had was beautiful. It's a perfect location if you want to escape from other manic places in Thailand, it's pretty far out from anything, there isn't even a 7/11 super market near, be prepared for total isolation.
Nice beach and nice room and comfy bed BUT, we Did not see that the Staff are from Thailand. The Reception is extremely in experienced and under trained and communication is very difficult They struggle to speak English or Thai. Outside is Very noisy and small and dusty with trucks on main road outside coming from ferry pier next door its Extremely Dangerous for family or children and the Connecting to the pool is stagnant water with mosquitoes and a terrible smell. Found somebody's toe nail clippings under the bed sheets( totally disgusting)The water smells and Definitely would avoid this hotel. Resort 👎 The water smells and drains are like a sewage works. 😔😔🤒
My husband and i spent 6 days here and it did not take us long to unwind when we got there it is picture perfect so relaxing the staff were very attentive and helpful Mr. Ram and Milana were very nice they seem to work around the clock, always ready to serve. The whole complex is so beautifuly cared for and very clean with exellent food and a separate bar right on the beach. It is value for money and we would love to go back one day.
