myself and my friend found the saumi boat lagoon online after our previous accommodation which we had booked didn't work out so we found this place and so glad we did. hotel is beautiful, clean, with private pool and kitchen area Wi fi connection very good. Staff very nice and helpful we ended up extending our stay in Koh Samui because we liked the hotel so much they gave us a very good price with 10% off we were both very impressed with this hotel. we would definitely stay here again
Me and my boyfriend spent a few nights at the boat lagoon before heading out to Koh Tao. Safe to say I wish we spent our final nights here as nothing else came close to how lovely it was. The apartment is set up with your bathroom (with a massive semi outdoor shower) and bedroom at one side, and an outdoor living space with sofa, kitchen etc separated by your private pool. We we're welcomed warmly by friendly staff who provide you with complimentary fruit and water on arrival. It was my boyfriend's birthday during our stay and the hotel kindly decorated our room and brought us a cake and candles to celebrate. All in all a lovely place to stay and I wish I could always have a private pool in my life!
Myself, my partner and 6 of our friends recently stayed at Samui Boat Lagoon & absolutely loved it. We loved having our own private pool in our villa which you definitely need as it is so hot there! If you are thinking of staying here definitely upgrade to having a private pool in your villa as the main pool was very warm compared to our private pool and the property is very affordable to stay in anyway so why not upgrade?! The staff were amazing and friendly and reception helped us to organise a snorkel trip and ATV riding and also gave us a great recommendation as to where to hire a scooter from which (we did for the duration of our trip which lived up to their recommendation- which was only 5mins walk down the road next to the school from the property). The air conditioning was great and the property was down from 7eleven and family mart (walking distance) and out the front were a few restaurants which had yummy food! The property is also in a great location if you hire a scooter as you are close enough to the fisherman's village and chaweng. The staff even dropped us off at the pier to catch a ferry to the full moon party and also dropped us off to the airport free of charge which was great. All in all, great location, great property, great staff, great private pool and great price! We would definitely stay here again in the future!
Located near the boat lagoon, developing area. A beautiful part of the island, About 15 minutes by taxi to Chaweng or either fisherman village, no transportation problems at all. The hospitality is great by excellent staff that will try to satisfy any need. Close resturants, good fresh food and fair prices Highly recommended
My wife and I stayed here for two weeks during August 2017. LOCATION: The place is set at the very top NE part of Koh Samui and is in between the Big Buddha and the amazing Wat Plan Laem temple - both walking distance. It is right on a beach but be warned this is more of a jetty and not suitable for sunbathing, although there are free, twice daily trips to the nice Choeng Mon beach a few km away. To be honest the hotel is a tiny bit out of the way, but if you want a quiet location and don't mind spending about $10 for a taxi to go anywhere, then it's not an issue. There is a 10 minute walk to a few shops including a 7/11 for water, supplies, beer, wine and spirits (OK prices) and that's what we wanted to just chill out. THE ROOMS: This is the big bonus for the price. Our room was wonderful, with a huge bed, private terrace with a decent-sized plunge pool, sun beds, tables, covered kitchen area with up lights, fans, a fridge etc. The place is totally private and you can sunbathe totally naked if you want for that all-over tan whilst enjoying a wine or vodka and red bull, then just drop into the pool to cool off... You're not overlooked so go for it! There were one or two tiny issues like some minor peeling paintwork etc, but overall the rooms are fantastic and we loved ours - you just won't get this in a 'normal' hotel... The bathroom is huge with THREE shower heads in it but be warned - the high-up bathroom windows have no glass in them and we wondered why we struggled to keep our room warm without closing the bathroom door... Doh! FACILITIES: Huge pool and that's about it. No bar, rstaurant etc - so you either cook food in your enclosed area, travel out for food or get some delivered. Being Thailand the food everywhere is superb so you will have no issues being fed to whatever budget you have. NOTE: The local eateries look scruffy by day but come alive at night. Don't be shy as these were superb, cheap and we had no 'illness' issues - always a fear of holidaymakers. Be brave!!! SERVICE: As always, people in the hotel are amazing if you are polite, courteous and try to have a laugh with them. We were being shown pictures of kids and having fun conversations with the people in reception whose English was very good and always did everything they could to help. Learn the language. Sit down with them. Have a laugh. KOH SAMUI: Loads to see and do, and the island isn't massive so just adventure and get out there. We REALLY enjoyed Fishermans Village which was a delight. Anyhow - get over here and enjoy your stay. What's holding you up?
Enjoyed recent stay in 2 bedroomed villa with pool. Bed configuration not as agreed via booking agency but fixed in minutes. Some probs with power, wifi and tv due to suppliers/lightning storm but all great when working. A real tranquil and private home from home. Great swimming and plunge pools and really nice staff. No bar but good and cheap restaurant next door ...suggest a car as otherwise taxis needed.we hired from airport. Well maintained hotel but outdoor living means expect visitors. I'd return. Anywhere in Samui is a good location..our favourite beach..coral beach on opposite side of Island took 20 mins. If you like quite and friendly and your own place in the sun, this is it, if you like living on the strip with noise etc..try Chaweng ..10 mins or so away.. local beach not great but aware when booking.
Picked up by courtesy bus from airport as agreed no issues brought straight to hotel 10 minutes and room was ready for early check in which was excellent showed to room which was beautiful villa very classy only bad things I had that the area around hotel is not very nice but that's not hotels fault but wildlife in villa is crazy great to see some but when a big thunderstorm comes in the evening the wildlife moves and with the bathrooms open to outside expect critters in your room
This place is unreal. Private bungalow with your own plung pool. Nicely appointed kitchenette which is outside near the pool. Very quiet and private for all those romantic encounters. Must stay. Easy to get to all the action but just far enough out.
We have just spent 6 nights here and it has been very relaxing. The villa has plenty of room outdoors to move the sunbeds around and doesn't feel too enclosed. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet which made for great nights sleeping. The staff are all friendly and arranged transport when needed. We self catered for breakfast and lunch and the 2 mini marts nearby had enough supplies to keep us going. There is a little pop up restaurant down the road which we used for takeaway and then had dinner by the pool with a bottle of wine. The place doesn't seem to have a name but turn right out the main drive and it is just past the laundry place only a couple of minutes walk. There is a sign that says Phad Thai 50baht and they have about 6 or so dishes all 50baht and spring rolls for 10baht each. It just looks like a carport with a kitchen, which it basically is. The main pool at Boat Lagoon was rarely being used and is ideal for laps or a change of scenery. We found enough places nearby for drinks and meals although it depends on how far you want to walk. Unfortunately the 2 closest restaurants were both closed during our stay. The only issue I had was no plug for the kitchen sink so doing the dishes was a challenge but I jammed it with the shower cap, not sure what the housekeeping staff thought was going on. Be prepared for the open bathroom which can be rather warm when getting ready but the shower is lovely. I think it was just the right amount of time for us and we will miss the peace when we hit Chaweng.
We stayed here as a couple in the family bungalows and had such a lovely relaxing time. There is a small outdoors private social area with a kitchen, including a fridge/freezer so we rarely left the villa and we were pleseantly suprised by the size of the pool (approx.2.5m×4.5m). The reception can order you food from a local restaurant which was some of the best thai food we have tasted so far! The bungalows sit behind a small beach which was nice to walk along but we didnt swim there as it didnt look very safe. There is enough to do in this location with it being a short wander away from Big Buddha and a taxi ride from fishermans village and other beaches. Remember mosquito repellent and incense coils if you can!!
