Me and my wife Umi stayed three nights at Kirikayan Boutique Resort, Koh Samui, Thailand from 5th Aug 2017 to 8th Aug 2017. Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable and memorable. The hotel is located to nearest the shopping area. It is one of the best hotels in Koh Samui due to the following reasons: 1. Service at the reception: Good and fast 2. Front Desk Staff, Housekeeping staff, Restaurant staffs and other staffs: Very friendly, cheerful, cooperative and professional 3. Lobby: Not well decorated and not so convenient 4. Guest room: Well equipped with modern accessories 5. Food: Delicious 6. WIFI: Free and works good 7. Restaurant: Nice, clean and comfortable 8. Plus point of Resort: Nice pool Bar with beautiful quiet beach The stay was fruitful and awesome in all and a very new experience. I recommend to definitely having a stay in this hotel to all ….

Pros: Deluxe Duplex room nice and spacious, large bath in living room are. 2 TVs, surround sound dvd system. Small fridge and nice comfy couch to relax on, cool bathroom and shower. BEAUTIFUL QUIET BEACH Really nice pool bar. Nice walk to the shopping areas. Cons: ANTS, so you couldn't leave anything down for long that may attract them, staff did come and spray straight away when called. The roof seemed very thin and you could hear the noise of birds (i hope) on the roof through the night. a bit annoying. Overall I have booked a return to this hotel for 5 nights next month as it is well worth a visit.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the Hospital since my boyfriend was there for a while. The hotel is an average place. It has nice pool and bar, and drinks are okay. They have quite long happy hour, I think is twice per day. The beach area is very nice and quieter than other Chaweng areas. You need to walk a bit to go to restaurants and shops but is quite good location. The breakfast is very good, they have a lot of things and everything seems good quality. They do eggs ur choice and pancakes. The stuff is amazingly nice. They were preparing me every morning take away breakfast to bring to the hospital and they were all the time asking me how my boyfriend was. Im used to be in 5* hotels so maybe that makes the difference, but my only concern about the hotel was cleaningness in the room. The day I arrived I found 3 spiders and quite few mosquitos. I told in the front desk if they could spray around while i was away, but when I came back I didn't notice much difference, still mosquitos flying around. Good detail is they give u an antimosquito plug. One of the amenities in the bathroom was open. One night that was raining very strongly, the water was leaking through the roof. The room was number 12. The rooms are too dark, but I guess is a matter of taste. In any case I think is good value for money, compared to other resorts in the area is very cheap. Again, I want to highlight that the stuff is outstanding.

Thanks for everything beautiful place the best service made my holiday so specials nice beach good memory we will back again

Very pleasant second stay here, but spoiled a little by unnecessary changes to basic amenities due to a seemingly management driven efficiency drive. After 10 days here, the hotel decided that pool towels would now be rationed and not readily available. They also decided that the pool gazebos would be reserved for dining and not for use by guests to shade from the sun while family members are playing in the pool. Gazebos and general areas would benefit from some mosquito controls as well. The ideas are good to improve the overall vibe of the kirikayan, but the implementation needs a bit of work to ensure existing guests are not disenfranchised. Inconsistency in housekeeping and breakfast service is a shame. Good breakfast buffet, but awful coffee. Will probably come back, but will be very vocal about standards if we do.

Thus hotel is really cute! Overall look and the rooms. We got the regular room. Hotel is literally on the batch and has medium size pool which was also very cute. The workers was very pleasant. The first night there was no hot water but they fixed it the day after. We didn't take breakfast because it was over priced (400 thb a person). IMPORTANT TIP - about 3 minute walk on the street to the north you can find another hotel with buyers breakfast for 250 thb, or just eat on the street. Location is south of chaweng and about 40 minute walk from the center malls, but there are many stores and restaurants near the hotel itself

I stayed at the kirikayan for 10 days end april. Now a luvley hotel the beach terrace was closed off due to unforseen weather damage which they compensated with hotel credit. Nice gesture brill. But not a 4 star sorry but holes in the tiled roof which let splashes of rain water in & lots of insects. But not pulling this hotel down the staff were luvley, the food spot on just in need of a makover but thanks to the staff luvley people.

This is a great Resort for people wanting a relaxing holiday beside the water. The rooms are very comfortable with lovely gardens on the lower level. It has a great deal of charm & character about it. My friend and I stayed for 9 nights. There was a little reconstruction work going on to rectify the Beach area however this work has just about been completed. The staff at the resort are delightful. Extremely friendly and will go out of their way to assist you with anything. Breakfast is more than adequate and the position & location of the resort is ideal as it's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the Chaweng Beach precinct being on the southern end, about a 10-15 walk to the action and heart of Chaweng Beach. I will certainly be booking this resort again down the track & I highly recommend this accomodation to people who are wanting a lovely, chilled out holiday. Cheers, Ross

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I thought the staff were exceptionally friendly (until we were leaving but I will explain that later on). We were told beforehand about the damaged beach terrace and we were not too fussed about this, I knew we could get the shuttle to the other beach so that was fine. The pool area however was in need of a lick of paint, it does look quite dated now. The rooms were really nice and spacious however nowhere to hang your clothes, apart from a rail in the bathroom? Breakfast was simple but good, nice setting. I loved the location of this hotel, only a few steps away from all the food places and bars. The only thing I did not like was when were in the taxi on the way to the airport the receptionist phoned and said we had to turn back because we had not paid for our car hire. We had most certainly paid for our car hire and I had receipts to prove it. Therefore we told our taxi to continue to the airport and we didn't go back. This happened to us twice in Thailand, being accused of not paying for things when we had, not sure if they try it on or be careful.

My husband planned a surprise early birthday trip for us at Koh Samui. The 3nights was a hotel-N-flight package over the long weekend at Easter. We took the evening Bangkok airline flight to Samui airport and arrived at hotel after a 15-minute land transfer (van shuttle, extra charge). The hotel is a small establishment...and as soon as we checked in, the receptionist kindly explained a setback: the beachfront terrace was damaged during Feb rainstorm and now inaccessible being under construction. So we were offered drink vouchers, 1000baht to spend at their restaurant -and a free shuttle to take us to a nearby resort to use its beach there instead. (It was their way of apologizing for the inconvenience). The pool area overlooking the beach was also blocked. We settled as we liked this pretty neat place to enjoy my birthday weekend! The design of this hotel vernacular/ was tastefully decorated with local design, wooden verandas, open dining space with lovely landscaped coutyard and walkways, leading to the two-storeyed buildings where the room are located. The pool is pretty good sized and provided my early morning swim at 7:00am before breakfast during our 3-day stay. (I do wish pool closes later than 5:00pm as it'd have been really great to have a cool evening dip after a long hot day of sightseeing!. (Considering we didn't have direct beach access- during our stay -the construction of beach terrace would be completed by end of May, according to staff) Breakfast is served on the second floor dining area with refreshing sea breezes. There were a small but good selection of Thai, Chinese and western dishes, local Thai fruit and fruit juices, egg-stations. Good coffee was served every morning! The restaurant is opened for lunch and dinner too. We were away on island tours throughout our stay. The staffs were very polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located centrally on Chaweng main Street. Chaweng beach is the busiest in koh Samui, rather popular with tourists with its offering of western cuisines, fast food and local eats and dotted with many beachfront hotels. Places of attractions all, over the island are easily accessible via booked tours by land or by sea. Taxis are easily available day and night. You have to negotiate the fare first before riding, as taxi drivers don't run on meters. Nearby the hotel is a booking center, a minute walk on the right- the lady there was very helpful and arranged all our tours during our stay. On the last morning after breakfast, we walked through the hotel next door to its beachfront, and had a lovely foot massage at the huts set up on the beach. It was very relaxing experience having your feet gently massaged (price: 200baht for one hour) while enjoying the sea breeze. Aside from not having direct access to the beach, we did have a very pleasant stay here at Kirikayan hotel right at Chaweng beach.
