We enjoyed a comfortable one-night stay. The hotel was clean and the front desk staff member was very friendly. The hotel had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had no water pressure, but that was minor. Breakfast was decent. I would stay here again.
Just slept here. served breakfast, breakfast okay, waffles, scrambled eggs, area nice, was there to attend funeral was adequate. Near restaurants and shopping. a couple of nice malls in area, car wash close by.
We spent one night here when attending a family event in Guilford. Everything about the hotel - the lobby, decor, rooms, breakfast, comfort of mattress and pillows - is utterly and completely average. Which is exactly what you'd expect from a Comfort Inn. The most annoying feature of the room was the 'closet', a free standing cabinet not deep enough to accommodate a garment bag and the doors of which barely opened wide enough to hang glitches. The lighting in the room and bathroom was subpar and the shower curtain rod so loose I was afraid it would come tumbling down. The towels, though, were surprisingly soft. And it's a good thing the breakfast was free because paying for that food would have added insult to injury. And yes, I did know what I would get when unmade the reservation.
I stayed at this Comfort Inn for a business meeting and wanted to be close to the meeting location. I just wanted something basic and clean and was pleasantly surprised that this Inn surpassed my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. (including the highest number of outlets I've ever seen in a hotel room!) The breakfast was also quite good and the location was quiet. The price was right too. If you want a 'no-frills' hotel where you can be comfortable, I would recommend this Comfort Inn.
This was our first time staying at a Comfort Inn. From check in to check out, it was a very pleasant experience. Knowing it was on a main road, we had requested a queen room on the second floor at the back of the building. At check in we found out they couldn't honor our room request. We were given a queen first floor room at the back of the building in the corner furthest from the lobby. It was absolutely perfect - quiet and very comfortable. We found the staff to be very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
I spent two nights here with my family. This is a fairly nice hotel, which is well maintained and clean. Check-in was quick and efficient, and our room had plenty of room for 3 of us. The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had no issues during our stay. Breakfast was included and while a fairly limited offering, it met our requirements for a quick and easy start to the day. Plenty of parking and located in a nice enough neighborhood.
We stayed at the Comfort Inn to attend a wedding at the nearby Madison Beach Hotel. We had decided too late to get into the block of rooms at the Tidewater Inn or the Scranton Seahorse Inn with other guests, but after hearing some of them complain about their rooms, we felt we had done well to get a clean, comfortable modern room, a short drive from the wedding events, at a very good price, and no 2-night minimum. I would have given the Comfort Inn 4 stars, except for the discovery that all the bed pillows are feather pillows, and there are no extra pillows in the wardrobe. We have allergies, but it's always been easy for us to get foam pillows. It's such a standard request. When I asked the man at the front desk if we could get some foam pillows (we were on our way out and had not thought to call housekeeping before that) - he looked blank. At first I thought he did not understand the request. But when explained that we were allergic to feather pillows, he told us the hotel only had feather pillows. We each ended up sleeping on rolled up clothing instead of the feather pillows. Also, our room had 3 bath towels for 2 people, which seemed odd, but by the time we realized that, it was late and we did not want to call to get more bath towels. But the room itself was spacious and quiet. It was just an overnight stay, so it was fine. And reasonably priced.
After a recent bad experience at another Comfort Inn I was hesitant to stay here but the area had few choices. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. Clean, friendly service, HUGE room...a very happy experience.
Our first stay for the first part of our vacation in the New England States began in Guilford, CT. Our intentions were to visit Hammonasset State Park, which was only about 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Our room included 2 King Size beds and a pull-out bed, which fit our family of 6, with room for a bassinett for our 9-month old. Our continental breakfasts were filling and standard to continental breakfasts with eggs, sausage, muffins, yogurt, a waffle bar, juice, and coffee. Our only issue was the time when our 5-yr. old locked the bathroom door, and shut the door as we left for Wocester, MA. for the day, but we let the front desk know and they had the locksmith come and unlock the door by the time we returned. The hospitality was wonderful, Jojo was so helpful and friendly, she made our stay so much better.
Clean, comfortable, excellent service and lovely staff members. Close to the shore, historic sites and the beautiful Guilford Green. A great central location for branching out to sightsee without all the touristy craziness of other locations. Will be back.
