Hotel services were excellent, hotel members from Manager to Receptionist were very friendly and helpful. Checked in at reception and got River View room. And upgraded to One of the best room in Hotel recommended by Liz Liao ( Club Manager). Added breakfast and club lounge access for experience of the Ritz Carlton. As a Platinum Member from Marriott all the executive lounges are accessible in Marriott hotels. But The Ritz Carlton not provide that facilities for Marriott rewards members. However, the meals at Club Lounge were excellent and breakfast was very nice, plenty of choices. The best one was you can have the Noodles of your choice cook for you at counter. That was a 5 Stars. From the entrance of the hotel till your room any of the hotel members we met were very friendly and helpful. In conclusion, If I have a chance to visit again to Guangzhou, I will book the same room again, felt like home and office combined.
The Ritz-Carlton it's not just a hotel it's more than luxury place.. Love everything in this hotel The reception it's very nice..one thing happened I will say that at the end Lobby very beautiful with high quality service. The club at 33rd floor is unbelievable with a nice views and delicious food and drinks. The room is big enough with very big and modern bathroom. Every things at room. The breakfast it's good with multi choice of food and the reception is unique when just got out from the elevator a nice lady to welcome you till the food restaurant. Lovely morning with them. The swimming pool is big and warm so enjoy. The bar is very nice place to have a good time relaxing after long day in around Guangzhou. You will feel relax before your start the SPA so you should try..also they can organize your bathtub in your room. Thr location of the hotel is very nice every things close to just walk around the hotel. Back.. well i can say the only bad thing the one who make check in the booking I booked for a club smoking room. But he down grade the room to deluxe room because not available for smoking with not any mention after long time he give me at the club room and allow to smoke. That was a bad impration Recommended to stay at this hotel
limoni is definitely one of the best Italian restaurant I've ever been in gz! The two chef, Kevin and Chris, brought us a lot of incredible dishes. Karolina, the manager, was very enthusiastic and gave us a perfect service. Besides I have to show my gratitude to Anita, for her warm and thoughtful service. Thanks to her suitable option about the dish, we all had a very meaningful night.
Hands down the best hotel I have stayed at in Guangzhou! Facilities were gorgeous, with a lovely fountain at the lobby entrance. The heated pool was warm and pleasant, even in the dead of winter; the jacuzzi was a plus. Service was on point (it was my birthday and the staff went above and beyond with complimentary flowers + cake). My only (very) minor complaint was that the mini-bar didn't stock any of my favorite guilty pleasures (chunky candy bars, Pringles, etc.)
I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 2 kids, whilst using my Marriott Rewards points. We booked a River view room and it has the best view of Canton Tower next to the Pearl River and Haixinsha Island. The room itself is beautiful, roomy and classy, much better than I expected. Service is excellent in general. One of the quirks of Ritz Carlton is that they don't provide free breakfast for Marriott Gold. So we ate somewhere else but hopefully with the Starwood and Marriott merger, they will include free breakfast at RC for Marriott Gold or Platinum in the future.
We just returned from almost a month in China. During that period we stayed in several 5* hotels including the Peninsula, Shangri-la, Hyatt Regency and the Intercontinental. The Ritz Carlton, Guangzhou was far and away the very best hotel we stayed in. The level of service and the friendliness and attentiveness of the employees was beyond belief. We were always addressed by name and provided with outstanding service. In particular, Pauling the Concierge was incredible and it was so helpful that she spoke perfect English. She went out of her way to make sure we had all the details we needed for our day, including very specific instructions for getting to sites on the subway. Most concierges just dismiss you with it would be better to "take a taxi". Pauling understood that we enjoyed navigating the city on our own and was very patient about helping us. She also suggested some great restaurants based on our requirements. When the hotel hair salon was booked, she made an appointment for me at a nearby salon and sent one of the employees to accompany me on the walk to the salon. I feel terrible because I cannot remember the employee's name but she was wonderful and a pleasure to be with on our journey to the salon. We also had several opportunities to speak with Marcel, the Assistant Manager of the hotel who was very helpful and interested in making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. One evening he personally got involved in organizing a taxi for our ride to dinner. We really felt that we were being extremely well cared for during our stay at the Ritz Carlton. I should mention that upon arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the river and the Canton Tower. It was very spacious and very comfortable and we certainly appreciated the upgrade! It helps that the hotel is situated in the perfect location. Breakfast at the hotel is also very special with the staff making sure that all our needs were met. There was nothing left out of the buffet! There is no doubt that if we have occasion to be back in Guangzhou we would head directly to the Ritz Carlton. It was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to China. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable.
I keep coming back Amazing hotel with amazing staff I know that this is normal and what should be expected from: "THE RITZ" But the staff is extra nice, friendly, helpful and always at your service The food quality and presentation is impeccable Rooms are nice, comfortable, and spacious
the room view is beautiful and the staff services are excellent. The front desk offered me a cup of tea, the agent is so nice and introduced the hotel to me. Since I was there after Christmas eve, the hotel was so beautiful with a big Christmas tree. The hotel is located at the center of the business town, love the view.
We stayed here for a night during Christmas Eve and have been privileged to have been upgraded to a spacious suite facing the Canton Tower. The view of Canton Tower at night is spectacular. It has a huge living area and a separate powder room, so it’s appropriate if you have guests visiting so they don’t have to use your bathroom. Room is clean, bed is comfortable and we have good sleep cos we didn’t hear any noise either from the corridor or the outside traffic. This is very important to me as I’m a light sleeper. The Guangzhou Museum is right in front of the hotel while the Guangzhou library is right beside. It’s within walking distance to the famous Bingsheng Restaurant and a stroll away to a nearby park and the Zhujiang river cruise. It’s located in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Checkin is efficient and the concierge team has been very helpful in arranging transportation. We will definitely be back again!
Ritz-Carlton exceed our expectation - superb location in the new city centre. Very helpful stuff - special thanks to concierge Niny Zeng for organising a great tour with a very short notice. The club level lounge was great - good food and views. One thing which can be improved in the club level lounge is to create a separate playing room for children. Sometimes the club level lounge was full of babies and running children - had the feeling that we are in kids playground or nursery and not in the club level lounge at all.
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
- Free parking
- Onsite dining
