It is more than 8 years that I regularly visit this hotel. Apart from a good room quality and friendly service I like in particular the fact that there is continuity in the staff. Usually I am here for doing workshops and business meetings. In spite of some minor issues with the heating in the meeting rooms during winter months, the staff in charge is always taking good and immediate care of the requests of the clients. This goodwill and positive mindset is of more importance to me than 'perfect functioning' or a perfect location. The Tryp Guadalajara offers good value for money and I am truly satisfied with the continuous delivery of a good and solid service. What I can recommend is the bar in the lounge area where Alberto and his colleagues offer a very friendly and attentive service to the guests who care for a good drink, a tasty sandwich and a pleasant conversation. I look forward to coming back soon.
Hotel TRyp is a good, relaxing place next to the town of Guadalajara, and the highway which is connecting Madrid only 50 km away. It also has got excellent service and a really comfortable atmosphere at the bar and the halls.
We had stayed in this hotel once before travelling from our home in France to the Costa Del Sol and it was well worth a second visit. We booked a few months in advance and secured an extremely good price! Staff generally excellent, though on this occasion, when my husband asked for a couple of extra pillows, he met with a little resistance and after waiting over an hour he revisited Reception. A different receptionist helped immediately, so thankfully this small problem was quickly solved. The rooms and beds are comfortable and clean and the bathroom facilities are good. We didn't use the restaurant so are unable to comment, but the breakfast here is lovely with many choices available in a buffet format.
My AA flight was cancelled and I ended up here because AA decided to host me here. The hotel is decent, clean. Food is decent. The hotel is over one hour away from Madrid airport. There is no reason for me to come back but for one night is good enough
Not far from Madrid, this modern hotel was a pleasure to stay there. Friendly English speaking staff. Large room with king size beds fitted with premium bedding to make a very restful night. Situated just off the A2 and walking distance from a large shopping mall. Some very interesting sites to see in the town. Great stop over stop if touring Spain or travel up from the south into France as we was. Excellent breakfast included in a very competitive weekend price. Free car parking and strong wifi in the rooms. Good enough to stream live UK TV. Restaurant in the evening was a little disappointing for choice, but did serve a beautiful leg of lamb. Little difficultly getting back on to A2 going North in the morning due to one way system. Need to follow signs and not Satnav.
It's a huge hotel with a lagre parking area. It is obvious that this hotel had it's glory days in the 70s or 80s regarding the rooms and overall standard. It seems to me that the hotel focuses on business and spaning arrangements. Quite noisy hotel due to the clients and thin doers. We travelled as a family but it offers little for us. No swimming pool among other things. Again IT seems to be a business hotel. Do not get a room near the entrence or elevator. Noisy. The straff do not speak enough english to make them self understood or understand our questions. I need to say that they were very polite, Nice and easygoing. Great breakfast! Loved it! All in all not a 4 star hotel, but would come back without the family 😄
The hotel is good value for money. Rooms are practical and functional. It's not very well situated - it's at least a 20 minute walk to the centre - although it is right next to the shopping centre. The breakfast is a bit poor.
A very quick business trip was organised & the Tryp was recommended, excellent value for money, very comfortable rooms the AC was also excellent!! I used the restaurant on a couple of evenings the food was superb & also very good value for money.. I will stay again on my next trip...A+++++++
Pass by Guadalajara from Lisbon to Barcelona and spent a night at this old beauty. It is right off the highway and easy to get to. Great value, clean rooms and friendly staff. Next to a commercial shopping centre and supermarket.
clean and lovely room, literally next door to large shopping centre (Mcdonalds,Burger King) great for our overnight stay, excellent price and breakfast was extremely good value, huge selection for every taste
