AC Hotel by Marriott Guadalajara, Spain

Honestly, the hotel was not as nice as other Marriott Brand Autograph Collection (AC) hotels. There is no club/concierge lounge for gold/platinum members. The rooms were relatively small and bare bone, not even a clock in the room. Wondering if AC is in their name because the A/C did not work in the room. The enhanced speed internet did not work. The parking garage was awkward, you have to get your ticket stamped at the front desk, then when driving out of the garage you have to hit the help button at the gate so someone can come out, grab your ticket, take it into the office area to validate it, and then bring it back to you just so you can put it in the machine so that the gate will open... very inefficient and time consuming process. The location is fine and in a very safe upper class portion of the city. If you like eating street food and small shops they are not in this area. Sadly this is the only Marriott Brand hotel in the beautiful city of Guadalajara. Maybe one day they will open up other options.

Nice property. After 5 pm & sunday so we were lucky to get street parking. We were there on a sunday so restaurant was CLOSED. There were a few small places to grab a light dinner. in area. This is a down town type hotel.

I visited this hotel on a business trip, it is very good value for money, a solid 4 star hotel at a lower than a 4 star price. The staff are excellent and the rooms spacious and modern. The gym facilities are also very good. I have stayed in other hotels in Guadalajara and can recommend this as the best.

Very friendly staff. Couldn't ask for any better. Was in room 342 and the air conditioning did not work, just blowing out air which we had to open the window to get any type of cool air in the room. Had a fridge but was not very cold and to top it all off, if you wanted the free internet you had go to the lobby. Wi-fi in the room you had to PAY 6.95 euros a day. I don't think I'll stay here again.

Stayed here for a bjj competition around 15 minutes away Hotel staff were nice and welcoming and their english was pretty good also Rooms are very nice, free wifi and a great supermarket directly underneath which is pretty cheap 👌 We only stayed because it was close to a martial arts tournament but otherwise nothing really around it tbh, i would recommend as the price was pretty good

This hotel is in a nice part of Guadalajara, about a block from the beautiful Palacio del Infantado. There's also a large grocery store directly adjacent to the hotel. The staff was nice and my room was clean and functional. The wifi worked well but the wifi password expires after three days, so if you're there longer, that's why it stops working. Don't count on using the exercise room - I tried and it was 41 degrees C (~106F) and the air conditioning wasn't programmed to run. There's a pretty (locked) roof terrace, but the front desk staff said I couldn't use it (there was a language barrier so I'm not sure why I wasn't granted a key to access it). Overall a pleasant stay.

My family stayed here last week , we had three rooms between us all which were clean with good air conditioning and a mini bar . The location is good as it`s only minutes walk from the city centre and the hotel has it`s own underground parking. There is a Maxi Dia supermarket right next to the hotel and the bus station is 1 minute walk from the hotel , the bus to Madrid costs 7 euros and takes about 50 minutes , dropping you off at the main metro station . The breakfast buffet is your normal continental but there is also bacon , eggs, sausage available too . The bar is on the 1st floor adjacent to the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was good with an attentive waiter , the only thing I did notice was that the gantry was not well stocked at all but otherwise everything was fine . The reception staff were excellent , especially one young man whose name I did not get but he was extremely helpful and nothing was a problem to him . If we were returning to Guadalajara we would return here as it was good value for money , clean and the location was good .

A very short night here due to our hectic schedule .. a comfortable hotel with good breakfast selection and great location for walking in to city. The staff were very helpful and the prices was great.

Room was clean but very basic. No coffee or tea maker. We were surprised that most of the staff didn't speak English but they were very friendly and helpful. Continental style breakfast with cereals, fruit, cold meats and hot scrambled eggs, ham and tomatoes. The location was perfect for walking into town and there is a restaurant attached to the bus station, next to the hotel, that serves great sandwiches and made to order breakfast. Very inexpensive too.

This was an unplanned evening stopover in Spain during a road trip down to Portugal. It is a very normal hotel in a very normal Spanish town but the staff were fantastic and due to intermittent monsoons on the evening of our visit we ate at the hotel restaurant, we weren't looking forward to it but again the waiter was excellent and the food although basic was cooked well and it proved a very enjoyable and inexpensive overnight stop.
