I stayed 3 days in the hotel I fell in love with on the photos. But when I arrived I was shocked by experience in this hotel. 1, no one took trash, cleaned my room or changed towels or made bed within 3 days staying in!!!! 2. My balcony sliding door was not working and stayed closed with no option to enjoy the fresh air of the garden. 3. They advertised as “ free breakfast place” And when I asked about complimentary breakfast on day 2- they said it is only 1st day. Oh well I was on the hospital and could not use breakfast as an option to have it. They refused to ask a manager to owner it. It’s kind of you got to @ fight for it” which I am not cultured to do. Then when I called room service to ask for price for a coffe - they said 250 pesos. I bought it in 3 other places for 20 pesos. If they are trying to charge 259 pesos for coffee- they should bring the service to up to date level: clean up the rooms and make amenities like turned off jacuzzi tub and swimming pool off up to date, clean balconies, be sure sliding doors are working. And when I asked for regular water in the restaurant - they served bottle water adding it to my bill.... Updating on a spot... It was not a good experience for someone who came to 4,6 stars hotel to enjoy 4 days vacation. Never again.

This Property is gorgeous! Staff is super friendly.

The furniture is old, I understand is a classic Hotel but we even found cockroaches under a service menu. Not worth your money

Upon a recommendation of a Mexican friend leaving in Guadalajara, I opted for this property for a relaxing weekend with my wife. If you seek something different from modern hotel chains, this is the place to go: beautiful hacienda style building, nice rooms, abundant (although not extraordinary for taste and selection) breakfast, relaxing pool. Very nice personal. Would definitely go back.

Great experience! The food at the restaurant was fantastic, pool Was gorgeous, rooms very large, we definitely would stay here again!

It is well located and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Food, especially at breakfast was outstanding. Not cheap, but well worth the money. highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. Although the restaurant and pool area were still under renovation, the facility and the rooms were amazing and very pleasant. I stayed in the grand suite. The rooms were cleaned twice a day. They had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. The staff was also very courteous and helpful. I will definitely return and stay at this location.

Great hotel to stay for business. Very secure and nice people

Wonderful Experience. Would like to do it again in February, 2013!

This is a beautiful hotel. The service is outstanding with very friendly stuff. I really recommend this hotel to all the people who demand the best.

All was pleasant and relaxing, both staff and accomodations. I would stay again and recommend to anyone going to GDL.

The Gran Class suites are perfect for a romantic getaway, and you can forget about the outside world. You are transported to another time and place, when you are in the hotel grounds,(fountains, flowers, and great architecture). If you have ever experienced a hard bed in mexico, these are not the same. The beds are so well appointed and comfortable that I didn't want to leave the room for my entire stay. A word to the wise, run a little water through the jets in the tub, before you set up for that romantic bath for two.
