We travel a lot and first time at Royalton and this is the first time we felt uncomfortable with the majority of the staff being rude and not courteous. We definitely said thank you to the few that were nice. Unaware with original booking upon check in asked to pay required daily tax upfront. Arrived when dark and no lights in hallway to room and elevator out of order. This resort is not fully adults only. The hideaway is very small and shared with family side at beach, restaurants, pools and entertainment. Our room was not cleaned on the second day and had to ask 3 times to restock the refrigerator with water. Also, this is not a fully stocked mini bar, only 2 small beers. Had leak in bathroom sinks and took numerous requests to get fixed and still leaked. The beach was an unorganized mess, not enough chairs and very crowded, cushions were filthy, torn and worn out and towels were very old and faded. Only can sign out snorkel gear for half hr and only had one pair available so couldn't snorkel together. Rooms are run down and back to main entrance to lobby and heard lots of commotion delivering elevator parts on crates. Sports bar over 1 hr wait for food, no pretzels, no beer during big game. No coconut martini at main bar. Overall, not sure we will recommend to friends wanting to visit in August.

Property was lovely. 50% of the staff were amazing. Food was decent. Buffet had a large selection and was never crowded Tashael from Expedia was located on the property and was amazing. She was able to help us book all of the restaurants for the entire stay and helped with anything else we needed.

St lucia review My wife surprised me with a trip to the Royalton Saint Lucia, and while I would never complain in front of her about a gift like this, it was clear that she was disappointed given the cost and expectations. The resort is marketed as a luxury experience, which is of course subjective, but it did not feel luxurious to us. Upon arrival, we were dropped off at the so-called VIP check-in area, which was underwhelming. The drop-off itself felt more like a motel entrance than a luxury resort. Ironically, the main hotel reception area looked far more appropriate, so I’m not sure why VIP guests are directed to this separate space. The VIP check-in felt like a brightly lit waiting room with no real décor or atmosphere. There was no welcome drink, no sense of arrival, and no experience that made us feel like we had booked an adults-only luxury resort. Check-in was slow and inefficient, to the point that we didn’t even want to wait for the bellboy and carried our own luggage to the room. My wife had booked an ocean-view room. In reality, most rooms at the resort appear to have some form of ocean view, as the buildings are laid out in a horseshoe shape facing the cove. Our room was fine and did have a partial ocean view, but it didn’t feel meaningfully different from what I imagine most other rooms would offer. One of the biggest disappointments was the “adults-only” branding. While our building was adults-only, the resort itself is not. More than half of the buildings

Poor service, cheap liqure, low quality food We booked the presidential suit in the Hideaway Resort for the Christmas and stayed in tge unit 3310. It is a 3 star service and food with a 5 star price, way overpriced and disappointing. We tried to make the best of it. The staff response very slow and often simply ignore the request and won't provide it. Only cheap liquor, no premium wine or whiskey (even to purchase to enjoy it). They don't even provide straw and expect you to drink the smoothies! Our bathroom lights went out tonight out of four nights, and had to use my flash light. No sheets or pillows for the sofa bed, it took several phone calls to get them at midnight! At arrival, the receptionist didn't bother to stand up or even offer help to move our bags to the room! The elevators are dirty, like has not been cleaned in years, way small, and no fan or ventilation, and definitely watch out for its door, it closes fast and hits you hard! The shower valve hot/cold direction was wrong and burned us a couple of times! Their hair dryer did not plug into the bathroom outlet! Wrong type, Lol! The shower water flow was slow and insufficient, yet the water pressure in the public area resroom was so fast and strong that would soak you standing two feet away! I asked for SCUB Diving and they signed me for SNUBA! I can list another 10+, but i guess you got it.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL I don't know how is part of Royalton Group. No beach, no entertainment, not enough staff, poor food and a la carte restaurant never has anything in the menu. And on top of that, in the last day they took $ from our credit card without any explanation and no authorization. If you go to that hotel, take a picture of the contract you have to sign at the check-in when they also take your credit card#. Ask for statement of your room when you check-out and take a picture when they cut your magnetic bracelets. They will charge you for no reason, after you leave. When you call the hotel and ask why they charged you- the reason is changing from one person to another Horrible experience!

The property was very nice. I had issues with the staff and it was impossible to get fresh towels when requested. The system with using the app to make request is pointless when they don't respond. Also calling the front desk and guest services did not produce results. I also had issues with guest services and using the business center. The logistics behind staying here was less than favorable.

Absolutely would never stay at this resort or recommend it to anyone. Not one staff member was helpful or friendly. You can tell the resort is not maintained very well as there is tons of damage in the rooms, restaurants, and pools. None of the windows in the restaurants seemed to have ever been cleaned. Room cleaning was just re doing the bed. 1/5 stars and that is being generous.
