You booked a premium accessible room with a lake view for your husband’s 50th high school reunion, requesting a shower chair due to his leg amputation. While the hotel grounds, staff, and service were excellent, you were disappointed because the room you received wasn’t the one you booked. The hotel claimed your reservation through Hotels.com didn’t match the premium room you expected. The manager offered to move you, but it was too difficult given your husband’s disability and your own, so you stayed. You appreciated the breakfast voucher but felt let down that you didn’t get the room you had reserved. I feel like maybe they could give us discount or a credit.

The staff and the hotel were excellent! Couldn't say enough about the friendliness and professionalism! The only improvement I would suggest is more lighting near the extended parking for Lakeside. If the lot is full and you have to park a bit down, the older lighting isn't sufficient to walk in, it's nearly dark for a bit. Otherwise, great place!

…have enjoyed previous stays there however this stay was very bad. It was the WORSE two nights stay at hotel EVER. The first room was an adjoining room. I could not sleep for the LOUD despicable noises coming from the adjoining room. I notified the front desk and was offered another room. I moved to the different room and left the hotel to explore the city. When arriving back to the hotel, the room temperature was hot and uncontrollable. I notified the front desk and a repairman was sent up. The repairman eventually got the temperature up to cool and left. I could not sleep the second night as the room temperature became increasingly so cold to unbearable. I finally called front desk at about 4:00 a.m. for extra blanket. Could not sleep for the extreme cold. I made the front desk aware and again (as previous night) they offered buffet breakfast and maintenance. I accepted maintenance. The mechanic turned on heat enough to shower. AGAIN, WORSE STAY EVER.
