The cleanliness was an issue. I wouldn't want to see bugs in my living space. I don't want to enter a room and see dead bugs or several living ones crawling around. Then to not receive a refund ASAP is beyond me. So, no I won't recommend this place to anyone. I was in Greenwood to take my daughter to visit Lander University.

Staff has been pleasant to deal with, and this was the second time staying here. On this particular stay, there were several roaches present in the room. This was brought to the attention of the staff on duty, who apologized and told us that the pest control had sprayed the facility the day before. The room also had a damaged bathroom door that would not close properly. The first stay was excellent...this second stay was not as good as the first.

Staff was very nice and helpful and rooms were beautiful. Moreover, water in shower was hot and it was quiet, but wish they offered hot breakfast. However, what could have been improved was the bed were uncomfortable and squeaky, a few spiders, baby roaches made me nervous to put my stuff of the floors.

The pictures arent like they claim the rooms look like. When i went to go warm my food up in the microwave they offer for your room and there were roaches crawling around indise the microwave GROSS!!!

I was running late and I called to let them know. They said not to worry, my room would be waiting and it was. The staff was kind both at night and in the morning. If I need to be in Greenwood, SC overnight again, I will make my stay at the Red Roof Inn.

If I could give -5 stars I would!

The pictures are deceiving! Needs a major renovation on the inside of the rooms. Big holes in the wall patched up and didn’t even try to make it unnoticeable. Sheets and comforter were stained and had burn holes in them. The mattress feels like you’re sleeping on a trampoline. The pipes in the bathroom were whining all night. Toilet was leaking water. And it wasn’t even a trashcan in the room at all smh. This place was beyond horrible!
