Well, as I often do, I arrived two hours before check in. My room was not ready because they were sold out the night before. The receptionist called the room attendant to the front desk and asked her to clean my room first so she could get me checked in as soon as possible. I ran a couple errands and came back my room was ready. Great staff, super clean facility, wonderful breakfast. Very good choice
The staff was less than friendly. Our room was damp and muggy. There was a sign that said 100% smoke-free, but their was obvious residue of smoke. We have 2 asthmatic boys who started to wheeze in the middle of the night from it. I noticed behind the curtains on the wall their was mold growing. The chair in the room had stains and something sticky on it. The comforter was wrinkled, which we don't really mind that.. It just looked untidy. The closet door was broken and the carpet seemed wet. Also it was hard to fall asleep with how noisy it was right by the interstate.. And that was with a sound machine and AC going. All that to say, we will not be retuurning to Comfort Inn and Suites. The one plus to our stay was the breakfast, but they need to work on the main reason people go in the first place... Comfort.
I spent already several times in the hotel, where everything was ok, but not this time! After I arrived, I had to wait 30 minutes that a room was ready for me, even if I had a reservation with approved arrival time. Unfortunately the room was not clean, you could tell that it was not cleaned appropriate for more than weeks. Above the curtain it was totally cobwebbed, the door to the bathroom was hard to close, something is wrong, could see a few screws in the frame, seems that somebody tried to fix it without being successful. The corners in the bathroom were totally dirty, I found a pill (which was not mine) underneath the cabinet in the bathroom and an earpiece of glasses in front of the bed...I am wondering, why this was not noticed! The safe was closed, which happened also on my last stay...why is it so hard to get it open before a new guest is checking in? I will rethink, if I will stay there once more!
The hotel is run down and could use a remodel...it didn't seem clean to me and it smelled horrible. The breakfast was the worst I have ever had at any hotel. It is in a run down section and a service station in front of the hotel. I am sure I won't be staying there on my next trip.
We stayed at this hotel last night and were not impressed. We arrived late evening and a group of young men were smoking cigarettes, and drinking beer in the registration circle. Their presence made my wife so nervous that so she made me do all of the unloading, registration etc. Then we had some issues with our room with incomplete supplies (coffee, soap, etc). Our room was on the back side of the hotel facing the interstate and we could hear a good bit of road noise overnight. If you are a light sleeper - request a room on the parking lot side (front) of the hotel. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was the traditional hotel breakfast and was well stocked and maintained. Hopefully the remodeling project will help improve the hotel. It is located at a good location with several fast food type restaurants and a couple of discount gas stations nearby. (And a liquor store too).
The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the people were friendly. The breakfast was pretty typical, but the rest was better than expected! The location was convenient off the interstate once you know where to look. You have to watch for a small sign off the main road and it is back off the main street a little.
When my girlfriend changed her reservation from two nights to one, the one line reservation system didn't change it, so when we showed up, they had canceled our reservation, and charged us for the previous night. The front desk attendant was the most rude person, and almost gloated that we got charged. You could tell that she is in the wrong position, and made a bad situation worse. Though I have stayed at other Choice hotels in the past in my sales job, they lost my future business tonight.
This is a nice clean hotel. The CLEAN part is important to me. I was impressed by the professional service and free breakfast and wifi is always a plus. The beds are comfy and the pillows are amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Easy on and off of the highway. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly at check in and out. The room was quiet - very restful. It was a nice sized room and very comfortable. There was a microwave, refrigerator, desk, reclining chair and even a small dinette table with 2 chairs. We would definitely stay here again.
room was clean, front desk was friendly and quick to help. We stayed for a few days and left vert early on the morning we checked out, we were very happy to see that breakfast setup had started and although there was nothing hot (it was before breakfast availability) we were able to get coffee, and a muffin to go.
