We liked the bed and slept very well there. We weren't aroused by noised from others. The heat pump was especially quiet but did a good job. The bathroom was nice. The only problem was the soiled carpet. It really should have been replaced.

Comfortable, and quiet. Last second selection due to a winter storm. Will stay there again in the future.

This is no fancy motel, but it is easily the cleanest and best value motel I have ever stayed in. The shower is wonderful, rooms are spotless, and staff is very nice. My only suggestion is that maybe they start breakfast before the current 6am begin time. I had to leave before 5:30am and didn't get to enjoy breakfast. You will not regret staying at this small town gem.

I can't say what would have been good or bad. There was hardly any rooms booked, but the loud complaining customer that was at the desk when I asked about sleep aid, was put right next to my room instead of distant from the 20 or so rooms that were booked. You could hear every sound from outside and the curtains do not cover the windows enough to block outside lighting. I was there for maybe 4 hours (1.5 hours eating at a nearby resturaunt) when I decided to drive the 6 hours home.

We checked in after 6 pm went and threw our bag on the bed and left for the casino. We arrived back at the hotel about 3 am. When we got to our room there were no ashtrays. We had reserved a smoking room. I called the front desk and was told they were sold out. I told him I either wanted a smoking room which was what i paid for or my money back and i would make the 3 hour drive home. All of a sudden he had a smoking room. That means he lied about being booked up. So he finally moved us to the new room and the heater was so loud we couldn't sleep. We ended up leaving about 7:30 am. So I would not use this hotel again.

An overall enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The Comfort Inn at Batesville, In. was very clean and the room was larger than a normal motel room. The bed was very comfortable and I didn't wake up with a back ache. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good, right off the interstate, with resturants near by.

very nice & clean motel
