This hotel is deceiving; BEWARE!! After reserving two rooms with Orbitz, we arrived to check in. The hotel staff told her they “don’t take reservations” and she could not check in. This create a huge issue and after speaking with Orbitz and representatives from OYO (overseas customer service number) we were told nothing could be done. The hotel “saw” my reservation but she could not check in because they only service people who arrive daily and request rooms. Again, no reservations yet they could see mine in the system. Funny, right?! After hours of phone calls and finally getting in contact with a Burlington NC desk agent for OYO, they told us the hotel was no longer affiliated with OYO (since May 22) and requested Orbitz to call them. Funny, since this should have been the hotel’s responsibility back in May. This is where we lost it and cancelled our hokie reservations and chose a more reputable hotel. Lesson learned you pay for what you get and these people and establishment should be avoided at all costs. It is deceitful beyond all comprehension and Orbitz didn’t even know what was going on.

The outside of the hotel was NOT well kept. The inside hallways smelled bad. The stairwells were not clean and had a bad odor. Paint was pealing from the room doors. The room walls were not clean. There was blue paint tape left on my windows. There was not a washer and dryer available. The Red Roof Inn Hotel staff was nice and pleasant. I am NOT pleased with Orbitz/staff. I called Orbitz to change hotels, however, I could not change to a different hotel without paying an additional minimum of $100 per night.

Horrible room, even for the low price point. Parts of the floor reveal sub-floor, Hand prints on the headboard, dark stains on furniture, soap left in bath from previous guest.

Lots of trash around grounds. Shower was not clean.

Dirty carpet in the halls, very noisy neighbors partied until 3 am. Thin walls so you can hear neighbors and their guests screaming and talking loudly. AC Unit was outdated, low ceilings.

Within 30 minutes of checking in, we were so horrified in walking the halls and seeing our room that we immediately checked out and demanded a refund! I can't believe that this place has not been shut down!

Even though it was a non-smoking room, the room smelt like smoke. The hotel door to the hallways was broken so anyone could get in. The breakfast was not good -- coffee was undrinkable. Will not stay there again.

The hotel wasn't bad, just paid more than I thought was necessary. I would stay here again.

We stayed here since no other hotels were available for Elon's family weekend. We were in a room right next to one of the exits. Saturday night there was some type of party/reception. The band played (LOUD) until after midnight. Then we listened to all of the guests and band party hard in the hall ways until after 2:30 am... UGGHHH!

Excellent service - outstanding value. Clean rooms, plenty of hot water, and very quiet. Sparse but excellent hot breakfast. No problems with anything at this Quality Inn.

When we booked the hotel we were told there was a pool,however the management failed to make sure the pool was inspected before the weekend.upstairs room reeked of smoke,stairwell smelled of mold&smoke.air conditioner was so loud on 2nd flr. we could not sleep,holes were in the chair from cig.burns We requested a different room in the am&they said they,d spray the room with lysol even though my husband told them he had a lung condition& on a machine to sleep.after 2 more calls and persistance they low and behold found an available room on the first floor.The upstairs is disgusting to say the least.I wouldnt want my worst enemy to sleep on that floor.
