Holiday Inn Express Burlington

We were charged full price all while the hotel is being renovated. Waking up to air hammers isn't expected when paying $150 a night for a run down hotel. I've stayed in nice Holiday Inns but this isn't one of them. This one is beat and just getting a really crappy face lift from a cobby contractor.

Staff members were courteous and room was well-appointed. Bed was comfortable and amenities were fine. Safe and secure location. All together a good place to sop while on a road trip.

Only things I can say that might be nitpicking was some of the m,il in the breakfast was past the date (I think they order too much; have too much in there), and I'm pretty sure they don't steam clean their floor, I wiped some food from the floor with a rag and got a bunch of dirt also, and the elevator is a little clunky, and wifi is a little slow. But my key card worked every time this time, breakfast and staff are great/ friendly, even when it seems they are overworked

Keycard didn't work repeatedly, had to get it addressed in the lobby 4 times before someone went up and fixed the door, elevator is slow Continental breakfast spread is very complete, friendly staff, free wifi, good cable channels, signs are posted to help you find it

Great hotel value! Close to shopping and restaurants. Very convenient to interstate.

This hotel is adequate. It was converted from another chain and meets the bare minimum but that's about it. It just didn't have that "shine" that's needed to be recommended. (Nigh bulbs burned out, etc.) It's certainly not somewhere that I would stay again.

Front desk staff were very courtious and friendly. Provided quick service and friendly atmosphere.

This hotel has a decent location for business travelers, there's an Outback and a seafood restaurant very close by in walking distance. The room was OK, however I did have a couple issues that included some debris below the PC worktable in the room - leftover rice from the previous tenant along with one of the earpieces of his reader glasses. The good news is the room was quiet, other than under the computer table the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. I'm sure my my experience was a one off - no reason to avoid this hotel.

was pleased by all that matters by this hotel experience, from the staff to room cleanliness. I would definitely stay again!

The hotel looked as if it was fairly new. The rooms were comfortable and presented well. The beds were awesome (firm and very comfortable).
