Within 15 minutes of being in our room we seen a roach. I w asnt sure it was at first because I had never seen one before. After seeing another I went to Google and then noticed more and more. I reported it, the manager wanted to switch my room but I knew if they were in one room they'd be in others so I asked for my payment back. I had paid for a few nights and they agreed to refund it then didn't give me the full refund. My bank is disputing it.
Hotel room was disgusting, was given a smokers room and windows did not open to ventilate. Requested different room due to asthma. Was told hotel was full, this was the last room, even though I had made reservations weeks in advance, I was given last available room. I requested refund and left hotel.
toilet overflowed all night.other guests hollered and screamed all night. when I asked desk cerk why wifi didn't work he laughed and said wifi never worked. No hot water in morning for shower and when I went to "continentalbreakfast" there was no coffee or tea but stale buns were plentiful. At 8 a.m. a plumber who spoke no English walked in on me almost naked. .
Hotel did meet all my needs and expectations. Clean and adequate for the price
Smelled like cigarettes. I don't understand why budget hotels think they have to have smoking rooms. I saw a number of guest smoking outside the hotel. Just make everyone smoke outside and improve the travel experience for everyone.
Was meeting a good friend for the evening it was OK nothing fancy
The location was great and exactly what we needed.
Carpet and blankets not good. Sheets were clean. Good coffee.
Staff went out of their way to make sure all was well. Although the hotel could use to updating, you can't beat the value. The breakfast was good too.
Returning son to Elon and traveling with our dog. Hotel takes dogs so I decided to stay here. Room was clean but had an air freshener oder the entire time. Staff was helpful if needed. There where a number of people that seemed to be living there, that was sort of creepy.
Nice quiet stay at Econo Lodge. Plan to stay there again in the future.
The stay was O.K. for the price. Breakfast was less than average. It should be improved.
hotel staff and were very nice. good location
it was very quiet and peaceful during my stay
Room very nice, pretty clean and nice. Breakfast typical of continental breakfast. Found out in the morning back door propped open by teens in pool area, so staff did not check all doors were locked It was just my sister, myself, and nephew. Not very secure for women traveling alone. Loud guests at 1 AM.
very quiet and restful night.
I found the hotel staff to be very customer oriented and attentive. We found the hotel in general to be perfectly adequate for our needs. The complimentary continental breakfast was an added bonus. The hotel is conveniently located to all the major highways and shopping areas. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at the Econolodge and would not hesitate to stay on future visits and recommend to friends.
Clean, efficient and comfortable with very amiable staff. Just what I was looking for on a very short stay.
