Spent a night in this hotel with my boyfriend for our birthday and was a fantastic stay! The room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Also glad the walls weren't paper thin like most hotels so heard no noise from other rooms. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant, the meal was lovely and enjoyed sampling different cocktails from their menu. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great hotel, great location and will definitely be booking another stay again.
So we decided to stay here for a spur of the moment Sunday night break on a DBB rate. Hotel is in a central location and within a 5 minute walk from the main shopping area. Car Park right next door which is handy but was expensive (not the hotels fault though as it is not owned by them and the hotel website does advise costs). Check in was painless and we were allowed into our room early. Room was great and up to the usual Hotel Indigo standard. The room didn't seem to show any sign of wear & tear which is nice to see. The only gripe was that the AC/heater unit kept us awake even though it was switched off! (Sounded like a cistern constantly refilling with water!!). The meal in the restaurant was superb and the staff very attentive even though there was a coach party in the service was relaxed but efficient. Lovely bar staff that helped us with our Gin choices. Overall a great hotel and we have said that we will be returning again soon!
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was a great location and walking distance to everything I wanted to see in Glasgow. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was clean. Great choice!
We recently stayed at Hotel Indigo and cannot say enough nice things about the hotel and Kris, the staff member who checked us in and out. He made recommendations for things to do in the city center as well as a local pub for dinner. The hotel room was beautifully decorated and had a huge bathroom. The bed was also super comfortable. The bar was neat as well. We enjoyed reasonably priced drinks and desserts in the bar area. Highly recommend!
We had a very nice stay here. The reception was very friendly and recommended a great pub for dinner about 5 minutes away if you are walking. The room was clean and very comfortable with tasteful decorations. Bed was very comfortable and tv was large. Shower was large with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The restaurant in the hotel has a nice dessert selection and whisky. There is a parking structure across the street and you get 5 pounds off if you get a voucher from the front desk.
Visited on Sunday on an Itison promo for cocktails and nibbles. The member of staff at the bar wasn't aware of the promo but we were quickly seated and our nibbles brought over then the selection of cocktail list. We only had 2 each and even though on a promo, there was no half measures here! They were delicious and totally packed a punch. Spent some time with the manager (Gordon?) who was very hospitable.
Very nice hotel. Well situated, 5 minute walk to centre of Glasgow . Very near Glasgow Central train station. Marco Pierre White restaurant within same building. Never ate at hotel. Room was very nicely decorated and furnished. Extremely clean, maid service daily and fresh towels daily. Aveda products provided complimentary. Small fridge with drinks and snacks provided in room price. Hair drier was good so no need to take your own. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The Hotel Indigo in Glasgow is great! Here's what I liked about this hotel: * Comfortable rooms that were big enough to fit 2 large beds (we were traveling with our 2 kids). * A location that was within walking distance of the train station (we walked our luggage). * A location near a great street with bars and restaurants. * Wonderful check-in service where we given a map and awesome pub suggestions that we followed up with and enjoyed very much. * An onsite gym that my son got to enjoy. I recommend the Hotel Indigo in Glasgow!
I arrived last Friday night and checked out yesterday morning. It was my first time to Glasgow and I came alone so I had many questions about the area and things to do. The staff always seemed to have a smile on their face and were never short of suggestions for me. Cory and James at the bar were outstanding. I found this hotel to be perfect for my stay as it was very central and I was able to walk anywhere I wanted in a reasonable amount of time. The Kelvingrove to the west or the Cathedral to the east are only about 30-45 minute walk away. Beautiful views from the top of the Necropolis as well. If you happen to want to check out other parts of the country Glasgow Central is only 2-3 blocks away from the hotel. I was able to take a day trip to Edinburgh and avoid the chaos of trying to stay in the city while the Fringe was going on. If you fancy a bit of a night out it's only a few blocks from a couple fun clubs. I had a blast at The Cathouse and The Buff Club was alright as well.
Spent a couple nights here for Stone Roses at Hampden Park. I've stayed in some more budget hotels in Glasgow for business - and this was a class above. Great room and very high quality breakfast. Very welcoming on reception sorting us a table at Sarti. Recommend the Hendricks Bloody Mary. Would definitely come back.
