My husband and I spent an overnight in the Hotel Indigo, Glasgow. We were given this as an anniversary gift from our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Before receiving the gift, I hadn’t heard of the Indigo chain, but can now highly recommend it. We checked in on Saturday afternoon and were welcomed by a lovely young lady from Latvia. She asked if we had ever visited the hotel before and when we said no, she proceeded to tell us all about it. We had a superior king room on the 4th floor - the room was very spacious, spotless and had everything which we needed. Part of our deal was a bottle of wine on arrival and a 3 course dinner in their Marco Pierre White restaurant. There was a mini-bar in our room which consisted of a small bottle of white wine, 2 bottles of lager, one still and one sparkling water, 2 cans of juice, 2 caramel wafers and a packet of crisps. This was all included in the price of the room. We also had the usual tea, coffee, percolated coffee etc. There was also a mobile phone in the room (called the handy phone) which is available for use throughout your stay. This includes internet as well as national and international telephone calls, thus not requiring any foreign visitors to purchase UK SIM cards. Dinner was delicious and the staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. There was a good selection to chose from. If we didn’t want to chose from this menu, we also had the choice of the a la Carte menu with an allowance towards it. We had a lovely breakfast on Sunday morning where there was also an excellent choice. On the whole, we have a wonderful stay at the Hotel Indigo on Waterloo Street and would award it 10 out of 10

They say 1st impressions say everything. We were a group of 18 ppl and as I enter the hotel we were greeted and presented with our room cards ... no time wasting ... the staff were always willing to help and assist. Rooms were clean and spacious, the bar come with 2 bottle of water, 2 sodas, snacks and chocolate bar absolutely freeee.. ( refilled everyday) Water kettle and Iron are available in the room. The best feature is the HANDY set that come in every room (only hotel to have this feature)it’s a mobile device that has internet and can be used to make international calls absolutely freeee... the devise can be carried where ever you go and is loaded with maps etc... Hotel central located, perfect place to be at

Overnight on a business trip. Good location and easy to find. Rooms are large and well decorated not overdone or too sparse. Beds are super comfy plenty of amenities, good WiFi, handy smartphone with free calls during your stay, complementary snacks and drinks in the room. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Pretty much everything you’d need. Bathroom is lovely and shower was great. View out of the window was a building site (but that’s not their fault). Only one slight moan is that the tv channels are limited.

Stayed here while i was on a business trip. Efficient hotel. very quick check in and checkout. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Clean good size rooms. Certainly good value for money with breakfast and free internet. This was my first stay, however will not be the last stay

Very well appointed hotel, the room is very comfortable but like a lot of hotels the room lighting is poor, plenty of actual lights but for a woman it is difficult to find one to do ones makeup in even in the bathroom and for anyone to read - bring a torch. However, they do,have real coffee inmthe room Yipee. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food has been very good, not cheap but delicious.

The room is well appointed with a mini bar fridge, a large shower and a very comfortable bed. They even supply a smartphone for you to take out and about the town. The staff surprised me with a handmade birthday card and we had a nice meal in the Marco Pierre White restaurant. We also enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast the next day. The hotel is centrally located and the bus to the airport is just a few steps away.

Have just returned from overnight stay at hotel indigo. We were both very impressed with this hotel. From checking in to leaving the service we received was first class. The hotel is modern, extremely clean and well run. Our room which was a standard room had two double beds. A nice bathroom with walk in shower, all immaculate.Breakfast was really nice ,once again the staff were attentive and friendly. This was not our first stay in Glasgow nor will it be our last,on our next trip we will stay at the Indigo. One further thing it is very convenient, being about 200 meters from central station.

Stayed one night, location was great for the airport bus and rail station. Beautiful room with mini bar and a phone that you can borrow during the stay. Staff were warm, welcoming and really helpful with some great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. Bar and breakfast top notch. Would recommend for business or lesuire stays. Will be back.

My first impression was good as the hotel is very nice inside and the staff were very smart, courteous and friendly. Unfortunately, the standard of afternoon tea did not reflect the hotel and let it down badly. The sandwiches were freshly made but there was no butter on the bread and the fillings were not fresh. I’ve never seen scones like it. Tiny, flat, brick hard, tough and tasteless. One small jar of jam between us both and synthetic cream. Harsh but true. It was then completed by 3 bitesize shop bought cakes. I don’t think Marco Pierre White would approve. I’ll not be returning.

loved the big shower, nice big room, lovely and clean, great breakfast and breakfast service, nice touch was the complimentary mini bar, big bed and liked the fluffy towels really disappointed in the MPW dinner service - 25 mins wait for a jug of water before we even got to order food and wine, expected more from the food with it being attached to such a big name
