Arrived early afternoon and met by the concierge, who was most helpful showing us to our room and explaining the geography of the city with tips of were to go. The building looks like a old bank which gives the public areas character. The beds are so comfortable and so big, guaranteeing a great nights sleep. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, a great hotel when visiting the city.
Visited here for one evening whilst working in Glasgow and I was made to feel very welcome from all the staff, especially on arrival. The hotel has great and unusual decor both in the rooms and in the communal areas and the hotel overall was very clean and tidy. The room I stopped in was classed as a king and it was very spacious. Large bed, lovely bathroom with great shower and lots of gadgets. Overall a great hotel and I would certainly stay again
Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in November. Took a good 20 minutes waiting in a queue to check in as only one person on reception. Rooms are Nice, lots of lovely extras like hand held device and free mini bar. Staff were also lovely. Everything was nice and clean, ironing facilities could do with updating. Overall nice hotel would stay again.
Just returned from our overnight stay to celebrate my birthday. Love staying at this hotel. Well cared for by staff, very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Felix was helpful and pleasant as always and explained the new gadget in the rooms, Handy. It really is handy! Free mini bar, robes and slippers are a great bonus too. Comfortable bed, had a great nights sleep. Had breakfast sent to room in morning after filling out the list and leaving on outside door handle before bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, quality produce. Thanks to Neil at the bar, his knowledge and information was outstanding. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the whisky. Can't wait to return.
Stayed only one night here. Really enjoyed it though. Stay was super friendly and always willing to help. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here as I would stay here again if I find myself in Glasgow again.
Just had a lovely overnight stay in a King Premium room, was one of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in. Impeccably clean, lovely furniture and really comfy bed. Proper full sized bath towels, dressing gown and slippers! Amazing. The complimentary mini bar is a great touch, ideal after a busy day shopping! 10/10 would stay again, it's a perfect location if you are having a weekend away shopping in Glasgow.
On the face of it, this is a very nice hotel in central Glasgow. The room we had was well furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything was great until we went for breakfast - we had to wait a while to be seated, and then even longer to be given a menu (there is no cooked buffet). When our order was eventually taken it arrived relatively promptly, although not all the items mentioned on the menu seemed to be included. However, there were no knives and forks to eat it with, and when these were requested a fork was delivered but no knife! I did eventually get a knife but why should I have had to ask for such a simple item. It seemed the restaurant was understaffed as many of the tables hadn't been cleared. This was all rather a pity as the stay had started on the right foot.
Good first impression, clean, fresh hotel reception, but had to wait to be greeted. I was given an upgrade, so that’s always a good start, the rooms are well appointed, again, clean and fresh. I like the Indigo style and always enjoy my stays in this chain style, I had a couple of drinks in the bar and found the bar staff knowledgeable of what they were selling (quite unusual). The free internet is well - pants, it would not even load a speed test site it was that slow, so working from the hotel room was a bit of a pain. So, all in all a nice place to stay and I would happily stop here again.
We arrived early and the reception staff were very helpful, arranging for our room to be available quickly. Felix the Concierge was chatty and helpful while we waited, advising on parking and shopping areas. The Hotel is in Waterloo Street near Central Station but not quite in the evening biz, making it a nice quite location. Our room was excellent, clean and airy. I liked the free mini bar selection. The breakfast selection in the morning was very good, the poached eggs and smoked fish was excellent. We dined in Pierre Marco White's in the building, I have reviewed it separately as I did not want it to detract from this review. Great sleep and a nice friendly stay in a perfect location. One I will use again.
After a short walk from Glasgow Central Station we were greeted by the friendly and efficient concierge Felix and the pleasant and capable receptionist Mabel. Our room was large, comfortable and well furnished. It had all I wanted: tissues, a walk in shower, a fridge, a room safe and tea and coffee. It was quiet and we slept well. In the en-suite there was a (blue) night light: a good idea. The hotel is original, with character. Sometimes this means slightly erratic. But not in this case. It's very well run and combines tradition with quality.
