A good sized room with a comfortable bed. Quiet, so I got an excellent night's sleep ( not always the case on business trips). Contrary to an earlier review I had an excellent breakfast. The continental style buffet was well stocked and everything fresh. I opted for eggs benedict, which were really tasty. I'll defintely be staying here next time I'm in Glasgow. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The service at breakfast was also first class.
Spent the night on Saturday the 3rd March. Before flying to Malaga on the Sunday We arrived mid to late afternoon. Reception was very good very in formative. Room was very nice and the bed was comfy. That is about it we went our for dinner. Afterwords we came back for a drink it was expensive which is normal for these hotels. The restaurant at the hotel is a Marco Pier White top chef top food. So you would think! After a good night sleep we went for breakfast which was included in the price. Layed out continental looked ok and all the usual flakes, fruit Yogurt etc. it was not a buffet breakfast you had to order you food from the waiting staff. You woukd think if you were ordering your food would be hot no fresh. I am afraid to say it was the worst breakfast we have had. My wife orderd sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs. When it me it looked awful the scrambled eggs looks runny and it was cold the rest of the food was also cold. My food was a full breakfast 1 egg 2 rashers bacon 1 sausage 1 potato scone, 1/2 tomato it too was look warm. My wife sent hers back when it came back it was not much better. Don't think I will be back at this Hotel the price of this would give been £15 per head. Coffee was also rank. Hopefully Marco P White does not live on his reputation for the running of the breakfast part of this Hotel.
With the best of Glasgow service, this boutique and stylish hotel is a favourite and first choice for a luxury visit. This was our 4th visit to Indigo and we will be back. The staff are exceptional, the rooms are perfect and the breakfast is a all a la carte, fantastic.
Brilliant people on reception. Great first welcome and equally warm and efficient check out. Gorgeous rooms and fab bed. Lovely bathroom and great shower. Such a pleasure to stay here and felt like luxury at a reasonable rate. Prompt and friendly room service both that evening and for breakfast the next day. I was staying here for business the next day so didn't really get a chance to explore the hotel because I was prepping the night before. Would really love to go back and stay again just for pleasure in this lovely hotel.
We had a lovely nights stay in this hotel in Glasgow. This was a substitute after our flight to Rome was cancelled due to adverse weather. Room was lovely, very clean with the hotel in a great location.
Perfect location closed than everything, from train stations to convenience stores. Good restaurant, with enough option. Bedroom with exquisite design and full of beautiful details in the decor. Parking in a building across the street.
Fantastic night away in Glasgow, dinner bed and breakfast for £129 including a bottle of wine on arrival in our room, 3 course table d’hôte menu at Marc Pierre White & an amazing breakfast that didn’t disappoint. Our king room was stunning, dinner delicious and service was superlative from start to finish. Incredible value from a wonderful hotel
Hotel Indigo is a very nice hotel. The reception staff are lovely so create a great first impression and all other staff we encountered, bar staff, breakfast staff and chambermaid were equally helpful and cheery. The hotel is spotlessly clean and smells nice. The room was a decent size and was very nicely appointed. There are some lovely touches such as a complimentary mini bar (albeit no alcohol!), use of robes and freely available newspapers at the weekend. Breakfast has come in for some criticism on this site and we experienced a busy Sunday morning and a quiet Monday morning. We did have to wait 10 minutes to be seated and it could be an idea to get people seated earlier so that they can make use of the buffet parts of the breakfast rather than standing in a queue, however it was the busiest part of the breakfast period, 10am and I'm sure if we'd come down at 8am it would have been different. The restaurant manager was very polite though and apologetic over the wait. Monday was a breeze, being seated and served very politely and efficiently immediately. The full Scottish breakfast was also very good & tasty and the buffet is excellent. We loved our stay in Glasgow and will definitely stay again at Hotel Indigo when we return.
Stayed here for a business trip this month. I’ve stayed in several hotels in Glasgow for work & this one has to be the best. Room was really pleasant & clean, the bed was really comfortable. Great hotel facilities, gym and restaurant & bar. Good location a 5 minute walk from Central station. Recommended to my colleagues after having lunch here with them the following day & they booked to stay on their return visit. Would definitely return.
