When i checked into the hotel i was told by the receptionist that my room had been upgraded to a double because of my Expedia status. I carried my luggage up to the room (there are no bellmen) which had double glass doors opening into the hallway. When i went inside the room was large but it had NO WINDOWS. It was large, dark and stuffy as you would expect a windowless room to be. This was unacceptable to me so i carried my luggage back downstairs to the receptionist and told her the room had no windows and i could not stay in it. She then said she would give me another room with a window. I took the key, carried my luggage back upstairs to the new room, amd went in. It was a stark room which looked like a two star hotel room in a former Eastern Block country. I booked this hotel because it was listed as being four stars. I can tell you authoritatively there is nothing about this hotel that is four or even three stars. A Holiday Inn would run circles around it. This hotel is classic low budget, no frills, nothing very nice, two star hotel. At that point i did not want anything to do with the hotel because i felt deceived so I carried my luggage back downstairs to the receptionist for the last time, gave her my key and told her i was leaving. She asked me if i wanted another room i declined snd just left. This hotel was a very bad experience for me booking and paying for a four star hotel and ending up in a dump. If you are looking for a hotel with three or four star quality, look elsewhere.

Excellent hotel situated in the heart of beautiful Graz. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The suite we booked for family of five was spacious and stylish, complete with well-equipped kitchen and dining area, and terrace and hot tub. The beds were the most comfortable I've slept in for years in hotels all over Europe. And Graz is a great city for a short break.

Great place to stay! Very centrally located to explore the Old City on foot - no need for a car! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was modern, spacious and very clean. The Buffet Breakfast was good and absolutely sufficient. Will go back any time.

The welcoming was very gentle and everybody did his utmost to make us feel at home. We spend one night in a suite that was very nice indeed. Huge! The breakfast was OK not really impressing but anyway sufficient. The parking garage is a 6 minutes walking.

This hotel is located in a quite central location. I stayed here for one night during a business visit. Staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms are quite spacious and clean. However, the hotel needs renovation on all ends as approximately 20 years of wear are becoming visible throughout. One example was the shower head, which wouldn't stay in place. This can be annoying. Until renovated I will try other options in Graz.

Fabulous hotel with huge rooms and suites a mere 3 minute walk from Hauptplatz. Great place to stay for business combined with the possibility of exploring the old town in the evenings. Attentive and friendly staff.

Hotel Zum Dom is in an old palace close to the Graz Glockenspiel and trendy Hauptplatz. Modern decor in an older building with a bit of challenging stairs for some rooms. That the offer at the front desk with luggage assistance if you travel heavy like I do. The Steak Boutique restaurant in the hotel serves monster, pricey steaks which was satisfying. An European style buffet breakfast is available for a fee. Good value, good comfort, good time.

We like the size and location of room, the warm floor in the bathroom and comfortable bed but the room needs the renovation and there is no real door between bathroom and the room. The window prevents sounds from the street but door didn't. Finally the hotel denied us with the later check out despite genius status on booking. It is unacceptable.

Great location for walking everywhere! Clean and spacious room and very accommodating. Would visit again for sure; quiet hotel and welcoming. Graz is so beautiful in December. I can't wait to go back!

The location of the hotel is excellent, near the centre (3 minutes from the Landhaus) but quiet when we were there. We couldn't hear what little traffic there was, although we didn't have the windows open being November, and there was only a little noise from the adjoining room. The hotel could be difficult to find/reach by car without a satnav, otherwise no problem. The parking was only c. 5 minutes walk away and easy to find. Check in at hotel first to get a reduced price parking ticket of €15 instead of the normal €30), you can park outside the hotel for 10 minutes or so. Our room (12) was a good size, old fashioned but clean, with a reasonably sized bathroom. The hotel in general was a little quirky but none the worse for that. Good breakfast, with various cooked options on request - there is a clear notice to this effect, despite what other reviewers have said - but we weren't actually asked whether we would like an egg etc. It was still well stocked towards the end of the serving time. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. We'd certainly go back next time we want to stay in Graz.
